Shirou surviving more than 2 seconds in UBW against a serious Archer should not be possible, even with all the plot shields in the universe.

 

It's redicolous no matter how you look at it. If he really wanted Shirou dead, he could have shot not 10 swords one after another (so he can block them) but 10000 at the same time.

 

A powered up Berserker doesn't have the reaction time and strength necessary to block all the weapons Gil is throwing around and Archer can top even Gil in the spamming department.

Someone missed the entire Archer character arc then...

He doesn't simply want to kill Shirou (he states himself he could if he wanted), but to break Shirou.

RWBY is decent. I don't like every episode, but enjoyed it enough to watch season 1&2.

When I watched it and talked in the RWBY thread I mentioned that the show itself got countless flaws and some parts of it is at best mediocre and few parts are awesome but despite all that it carry a unique charm that makes it alright for it to stumble and fail a bit more often. When I can see passion from the creators coming out the walls I'm far more forgiving for flaws.

Okay, so I have a question. This is in no way meant to provoke a war or anything.

 

Could someone like, say Goku, who is basically godlike, could they survive something as powerful as say, a headshot from Ikaros's Apollon bow? 

I mean, Goku is pretty damn powerful. But if he was hit by an arrow that destroyed the tower of Babel with one it that wasn't even a fully charged shot, which could destroy the entire nation of Japan with a single hit, wouldn't he kinda die from that? 

 

Assuming of course, he doesn't go into Super Sayian.

Archer is a Counter Guardian, not a normal Heroic Spirit.

He does remember every time he was brought to earth to clean things (read: kill people).

I think he might be a special case.
