Son-kun is a man child tho.

I don't think anyone finds a man child attractive.

But then again...

Well I'm fine with fan service as long as it doesn't completely take over a story. Like HoTD was pushing it, but a few upskirts or boob jiggles every now and then are what ever. I mean if you look at even some of the endless battle shounen, the guys have their shirts off all the time. Seriously, who here didn't grow up on Goku's cookie nipples? But that's just my opinion, no need to go spreading it around.

Gotta say, Dragon Balls characters have really weird nipples. I think the difference is that they weren't meant to be fan-service. Guys take off their shirt irl all the time. I doubt anime/manga fans can get away from the stigma surronding magical girls/ecchi with these genres being made constantly, may as well learn to live with it.^_^

Including giant roaches.

I've grown used to fan service. It's kind of creepy sometimes, but I just try to ignore it. Honestly though, the more it happens, the less interested in anime I get. I'm 21 years old, I don't want to watch 15 year old girl panty shots. : /

But I remind myself that having that viewpoint is just me taking the situation way too seriously.

In layman's terms, I sometimes feel creepy watching anime because of the liberal use of sexuality that is commonly used on what I consider to be underage girls. Like, I can't watch these shows around my friends, they'd think I'm a weirdo, lol.

Now that Ive reached this part and have more context, I must say that was pretty badass.

It's crazy how he was imprisoned and staked up for 5 years with no food before pulling that off.

Hey everyone! Let's make fun of Hierophant for being scared of 6ft tall, body-building roaches that look like ****** erectus with antennae!

That also know how to drive!

Wow. I've *got* to read that manga sometime. The black and white works well with their hollow look from them eyez.

Look they may look like people on the outside, but on the inside they are roaches. <dramatic thunder flash>

@J. Reezy - what chapter are you up to so far?

I know, and they hate humans, because they are roaches.

And they can't feel pain or fear.

and that's the problem with there being 6ft tall humanoid Mr. Universe looking roaches.

It's like that episode of Alf but with a whole planet full of them.

Currently checking out the anime Attack on Titan (just watched the first episode).

The story is rather cliche so far, but the animation quality is superb and I like the style and atmosphere.

Anyone else familiar with Attack on Titan? What are you guys opinions on it?

Oh, that's the most discussed anime here lately. I won't reprise, but I seem to be the only one not hyped. Yet it is interesting to follow, narrative-wise mostly.

@Maddo Hanar - Durarara!! is neat, Baccano! is far better...:wizard:

To be fair there is nothing to be hyped about. The production quality is superb, but the plot and characters are a dime a dozen as far as I can tell (only saw 2 episodes so far).

I liked Attack of Titan in the beginning, when humanity was truly desperate and under the titan heel. Then came the revelation about the main character, and it got really dull. Lost a lot of it's oomph factor.
I did like the Annie arc though.

Here is your context.

Don't put roaches on Mars and then leave them alone for like 500 years cuz they will evolve into humanity's worst nightmare.

So context or not, they are always horrifying.

And it is really fun to see them getting killed by people with cool bug powers.

Her father was badass, plus thank god those two Mexican kids are not raging stereotypes.
