After Monogatari.
So was Kancolle I imagine, but it may be more your type of show anyways.

After Monogatari.
Just skimmed through Oregairu Zoku ep 10.
Yeah they did make a few scenes somewhat shorter here and there and pulled something else (not necessarily bad) but it's still better than what I expected. Wish they kept in Hikigaya's dad monologue though because I think they left that out.
Also, HNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG
I also just saw the BD sales for Oregairu S1 which was only just released (yes 2 years later) and even though they had already released the DVD's 2 years ago it still managed to sell 7.667 which is pretty good for something that was released 2 years ago.
It's interesting to note how Durarara has seemingly come full circle in regards to pulling a Tarantino, unlike the sibling series Baccano, it embraces the Tarantino traits of narrative and well-written crazy caricatures in the urban districts of Tokyo -- You can go from a seemingly casual in depth conversation of moe culture to a scene of a group of Yakuza's vandalizing another main character's home wanting answers about a mystical rider spawned from the depths of Styx or something. Even when the action lets down, it's never boring to listen to the characters conversing with each other, coupled together with the stylish art-design that I love about both Baccano and this show; Not to mention how it features the best among the best like Bosch, Yuri, Steve Blum, Wahlgren, CrispyRice Freeman etc.
Finally, like Tarantino, the plot isn't as much about anything as it is small side stories of the everyday on-goings of its zany central POV characters. Heck Baccano more or less identified itself as a never-ending story of anecdotes from several different people in its ending. Oh, I shouldn't forget about the calming suite-blues-like-soundtrack. All of it excellent. Feels good to watch it again -- I'm legitimately surprised how Funimation, or whoever it was, decided to go with this Broadcasting method in regards to shipping dubs much, much quicker than ever before.. I don't think less than a month passed before the dub already arrived. Excellent.
I can't wait for part 2 myself, but I'll be waiting for the dub. It's one of the few anime that rates on FMAB's level when it comes to dubs.

That's what I'm saying. It's already out. It's done.
It's essentially part of this whole new approach to dubbing in the form of broadcasting, which makes it easier to get dubs for new animes out quicker. Less than a month after season 2 released, a dub was already running.

No, I mean part 2 of season two.
I think there'll be 3 parts?

Interesting. News to me. I won't be surprised if they are getting dubbed almost immediately too, which would only be excellent.

Yeah, hehe I think DRRR does pretty well over there so it'd be weird for it to have only 12 episodes for its second season.
Oh P.S

Geth get me an autograph.
I found Hanamonogatari to be vastly weaker than Nisemonogatari. At least Nisemonogatari came with it's outrageous over the top fan service in addition to Shinobu taking on a larger role where as Hanamonogatari had nothing besides a so-so plot lead by Kanbaru who is good but hardly one of my favorites. Not to mention the humor in Nisemonogatari which also outclassed Hanamonogatari. Now Hanamonogatari wasn't bad but compared to every other part of Monogatari it is weak
I myself found Hanamonogatari to be quite interesting since it served as a central piece and gave a much more grounded take on a character arc, wherein it focused on Kanbaru and her struggle of adolescence, which was pretty great. The show introduces a capable rivalry for Kanbaru with Rouka (focusing on the duality between her career in basket and football, how they both have ended up as different individuals and how they got there) and how it fits into her view of her life. The show also properly contextualizes her relationship with Araragi and Senjou that was introduced in Bakemonogatari, and the appearance of Kaiki who further improves the character conflict Kanbaru is going through (plus Kaiki's view on morality was pretty cool).
The arc is much more properly connected, and not as disjointed as Nise. The take on fan service is more directed here, since Kanbaru is someone who is self-assured of her own body as she makes clear in several scenes, throughout the series it has been mostly restricted to her room alone, because that is her comfort zone. That is why there aren't any "frenetic" fan service as Nise since this only applies to her alone (hence there are little to none when it comes to Rouka and when Kanbaru is outside of her house). The humor is lighter for sure, since it tells a more emotional story.
Nise has its moments, but arguably Hana is a much more solid in its execution.
I could start NIsemonogatari tonight, but I think I'll do some Log Horizon s2.
Well I can see something Isi would far more prefer from Geth than that Charizard now. ![]()
I'm glad you finally started watching Build Fighters. You'll lol at Ramba Ral's age, even harder if you get the reference.
Whatever happened to getting physical discs in editions?
I thought you preferred downloadable copies!?
I do, but I don't prefer downloading a near 50 GB game I will play once and not like.
