Titan was good, but it's starting to feel a little "shouneny". Hope it retakes that dark, frightening feelig of the first two episodes at some point in the next few episodes.

But yeah, this last episode moreso. Personally I felt rolling my eyez all the time.
As to other questions, of SAO etc, I much agree with Ghost Lightning! And really, I find SAO and Titan to be pretty similar in its demographic et al.
@Hierophant - What are these damn superb manga outtakes you've shown here as of late?

I'm thinking about checking out SA:O. Any opinions of the people? Does it live up to the all mighty hype?
Weak characterization. Harem. Squandered potential.
Underwhelming.
Really didn't go the places it needed to to make it memorable, which is a shame. Who'd have thought a story in which the premise "you die in the game, you die for REAL" would be so tame?
I advise you to pass on this one.

Gaara, Neji and Shino in the band is just kind of random. Hinata being a confident braggy making out b!tch is amusing.
But.
Sakura's tears make it amazing.

I'm also pretty sure Lee is having a three way in the background.

This video just gave me cancer.
Also, about SA:O, I've heard nothing but praise about that anime. Is it really that bad in your opinion? I haven't seen anything of it myself mind you, but I actually planned on watching it.

Edit: Yeah SAO could have been good, like in a "super dark version of .hack" sort of way. But what we got was just fanservice.
And nothing more.

Why do you keep linking Sims2 music videos?
So, SA:O, what do you think? Is it anything like Gantz? Because that's what I had to think of when I read it was about SA:O's plot.
Gantz is pretty epic, so...

Ah, I see. That's too bad.
Have you read or seen Gantz? That series is pretty epic.

First, weird.
Then REALLY stupid with the Shinjuku massacre.
Gantz might just be worth it for chapters 369 to 372, for being the dumbest and most pretentious thing I've ever seen in anything.
I swear, the philosophical aspects of this garbage are so half-assed and painful to read, I have this permanent image of the author wearing black nail polish and writing bad poetry while coming up with news ideas for his manga.
I just really hate series that have the "humans are the d!ckish species!" theme.
Chimpanzees wage outright WARS against outgroup chimps, which includes documented cannibalism. Male lions will remorselessly kill newborn male cubs to seal their dominance over their packs; they'll also sh!t on a hyena's prey out of pure SPITE (hyenas and lions hate each other).

Really, when I was reading Gantz, I never felt like I was reading something deep or philosophical. It's clearly a bizarre action/comedy series with a deeper message once in a while, and I quite enjoyed it as such; an action series.
Also, "spite" and "hate" are not concepts familiar to animals such as lions and hyenas, who are incapable of experiencing such emotions, and I'm not quite sure why you even bring that up. No offense, but you're talking nonsense.

I really enjoyed the new episode of Titan, and it bums me out that I can only watch one episode a week, lol.
Durara is okay, but I really need something to pull me away from slices of life. I don't know why, but those are the easiest for me to get into.

I think you took Gantz a little bit too seriously Some Geth... Nevermind, you obviously took it WAAAAAAAAAY too seriously.

Audrey Hepburn, Jesus Christ, Mother Mary ,Takeshi Kitano, Clint Eastwood, Hayao Miyazaki, John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Emperor Hirohito, Junichiro Koizumi, Gandhi, Dalai Lama, Pope Benedict, Einstein, Marilyn Monroe, Stanley Kubrick, Adolf Hitler and many more.
The one that said humans are no better than dust? Well if you did read them, you should see where I am coming from.
This was Oku trying to use his dumb manga to question the meaning of existence and the arrogance and evil of humanity. But what he really was doing was pandering to his demographic of whiny teenagers and their shallow, prepubescent notions of nihilism that amount to nothing more than the hormonal induced rebellious sentiments against authority. Because it deludes them into thinking they're deep and that they've got it all "figured out". If he wanted to be taken seriously (and he did), he should have lost the f**king faces which indicate he was just trying to be exploitative and provocative to stir those anti-authoritative sentiments of aforementioned teenagers.
Other species do f**ked up sh!t all the time to each other. Why are the ants not wrong for biting me when they invade my home and eat my cheezeits?
But I'm wrong for spraying them?
Wolves kill each other for territorial dominance when they could share it, Tigers can't even stay within 100 feet of one another, but no.. Humans are the only species of d!cks.
I bring it up because this is what Oku put in his manga, it is not deep because it's BS.
You are right, I do take this dumb manga too seriously but only because it tried to be serious near the ending. I don't like these themes and I can't stand them. Oku doesn't get humans or animals, and I really hate that so...
I don't think humans are a bad thing (because I am one lol) and I don't think animals don't have emotions and I think they do undertand what they're doing. Dog owners or just any dog people will tell you the same.
This manga is annoying.
8,000 omnipotent aliens try and kill you and you go Rambo.
Some random alien you just met tells you your emotions are fake and you start crying over it.
I don't even......
It's like:
"You suck"
"What?"
"Yup... pieces of sh!t"
"Noo it can't be"
"I'm not kidding, you guys suck... hard"
"But humans are different!!!!"
"Nope... bunch of... sucks"
*sob* "You're lying... y....it's not....not possible"
"LAME-Os"
*SOB* "WAAAAAAAAH... ughhh... WAhhh... nooo... waaaaah"

This sh!t is just doesn't make any sense.
All throughout Gantz... we've had the same crap shoved down our throat:
"humanity are sex crazed, greedy, stupid, violence crazed, a-holes."
"The masses are brainless drones"
And now we're supposed to be agreeing with the humans that are crying? Why doesn't someone man the f**k up and tell this alien,
"Dust? So f**king what? Suck my d!ck and PAY ME!"
