Also i have a suspicion that the warchief who saved Diane isn't Matrona (look at the eyes) and is Dolores instead.

It's certainly a possibility. It doesn't sit that well with me that she could 1v1 enemies that the 7 had a really hard time with. But it could be just another case of y'know... them not expecting that at all.
