Crazy russian assassins (particularly one blonde female ala Sniper Wolf who's seemingly fascinated with combating Shizuo and might end up as one of my favorites of the new characters)

Another new gang lead known as Not-Shinji-Grant-George-Rokujo joins the fray

 

Even had a grudge match with Kyuhei/TEH Blum which instigated the beginning of a beautiful bromance

Yeah I can't wait till the second cour for DRRRx2 comes out. While I did prefer the first half of DRRR more, I enjoyed X2 cour 1 far more then the last half of DRRR.

What bugged me about this season's dub was the whole Russian thing.

 

Why is it that they "talk English in broken way. Much like 'dis except with heavy, probably terrible Roosian accent."

 

Yeah I get it, they don't know how to talk Japanese and stuff so it makes sense.

 

But it's the same with every time I hear a Russian accent on TV that isn't Russian/Eastern European.

I've gotten used to exaggerated Russian accents from playing the Metal Gear games -- They don't sound any less phony or whacky than those in the Metro games. At least DRRR!! went along with the Russians characters actually speaking genuine Russian (I think? Well it certainly wasn't English anyway) at some points which added a bit authenticity to it if nothing else. The only other show that has done that would be Full Metal Panic, when Sosuke travels to China the characters there would actually speak Chinese. It's a nice touch.

Fury Road was pretty sick but I wasn't squeeing. Only time that happened was Godzilla 2014.

I've gotten used to exaggerated Russian accents from playing the Metal Gear games -- They don't sound any less phony or whacky than those in the Metro games. My sisters fiance is a giant Godzilla fan too. He's like an uber nerd. Great guy though.he was trying to talk my sister into letting him wear his fancy Godzilla shirt at the wedding. Long story short she wasn't about to have any of that.

Jojo > Gintama on an episode-to-episode level since Gintama can fluctuate between 5/10 to 10/10 depending on Sorachi's days.

 

Which is fine for a gag-manga.

 

Right now I'm looking forward to the manga more than the anime every week.

 

It's still 3rd on my list whilst Jojo is 7th

 

(Though tbf, I put it at 7th cos Jojo can literally be where ever the fcuk it wants to be xD)
