That they may very well be. :)

Yet are they interesting is another question.

(but yeah, I'm not doubting the smart in your comments :))

This video is awesome because it shows the fact that many animals are indeed capable of rationality and compassion, especially primates and cetaceans and elephants. There's no magical line of rationality that separates humans from the rest of kingdom animalia.

Language is one magical line that makes stuff happen.

But you're able to. :)

Anyway, enuff. I digress. That video is great, and yeah, other animals are not all that different from us highcultured primates...

Yeah I'm still watching GitS season 2. But it's cool when a track you've been listening to a lot longer than you've actually watched the show, actually shows up. Though I've noticed a more melancholy version of the main motif/chorus from that track quite a few times already.

Infinite likes for that track. Just some weeks ago I was really into listening to it. Actually, it reminiscences love, thankfulness for meeting some beautiful people.

It doesn't matter how much they're lovely or have mother-kid compassion.
Are the animals actually able to build tools, create art and think about mathematics and politics? Can they actually add something to their instincts and make history? I doubt it.
Therefore they're not "RATIONAL". You can call them something else.

Beavers are awesome ****s, they wreck whole ecosystems to make a swampy home for themselves out of sticks. Though where beavers are established, that becomes a new ecosystem in itself, granted. Only ecosystem humans make with their urban jungle is for squirrels and rats and ****.

My previous comment cannot be offensive or make you p*ssed off by itself if you're mature. But this one can:

Learn something from these people. At least they're social and loyal and make better thing than that jackleg Beavers dams.

Tho watching episode 5 and reading some blogs falsely worrying about a certain scene in ep 7 and how the centerpoint after that assumedly went to all in all gay relations made me sigh and cut viewing no. 6 - it's actually not the case, now that I've seen 10 episodes!

In fact, no. 6 is the most relevant anime in thematics that deal with stuff akin to what's happening in Sweden and moreso now in Turkey. Insane production and artistic values.

Looks like I should start watching that again.

Aah, the ending (episode 11) was still abrupt and with an overarching touch of shonen-ai. Ep 9 and 10 were tops though.

I just finished watching Kotonoha no Niwa (Garden of Words).

It is probably the most beautifully drawn anime I've ever seen. :kissing:
