AoT is certainly a force of nature as far as popularity goes.
I'm of the mind that it's moderately justified, though not to the extent that it completely dominates cons like Isi attested.
NGNL was fun and all but... wait why am I even comparing them, they're nothing alike.
Didn't go but I was told it wasn't that bad this year for that. Last year like 60% of the total cosplay and merch was SnK though for sure. Was annoying.

AoT is ok, it's really cheeseball though, neither my favorite nor most hated. It's like Fate/Zero to me, if you have never seen a Hollywood movie or something before I guess it could be somewhat exciting.
Ultimately it's missing too much charm to be in my top 10 even possibly 20.

I didn't hate it. But no way was that movie better than The Lego Movie. The academy are hacks.
