I just want to make clear, I'm not intending to sound hostile or threatening or insult you in anyway. I've noticed my posts as of late can be viewed that way when I don't intend for that. I feel more friendly than usual actually, so sorry if you feel a bit berated.
Not particularly, no. You made some good points. I don't particularly intend to come off as overly critical for the series myself however, I just noticed a very large % of what gets talked about for some series and by some people tends to focus on cute girls rather then the other aspects. Not that there's anything wrong about that for those people I suppose.

I am. Was waiting for some laundry to finish. If you make a post I'll get around to checking it out in the morning however.

Might as well.
So basically, iM@S does, like most things, come down to it's characters.
While your typical group, they are well written, and despite the large cast, every characters get an episode or two focused on them. You get to know everyone really well, their personalities, their motivations, and how they interact with each other. It's a dynamic cast of characters, and they're all likeable.
The story of the series is one of progression in a tough industry. 765 Productions' rise to fame isn't an easy one, and despite them becoming big halfway through. The show goes on , showing the huge problems that come with fame, rival production companies, tabloids, and the girls slowly drifting apart due to the amount of work they have to do (which was set up in a very early episode)
And then there's the movie. Which has the girls teaching a new group of Idols that are in the same situation they were at the start of the show. Which just shows how far they've come.
The animation is great too, and the songs, while not my favorite genre, are catchy.
It's a solid series. One that leaves you feeling happy by the end of it.
I'll start it when a spot becomes free, which will be next week as JoJo and Blood Blockade Battlefront ends. That's when I'll start iDOLM@STER and Oregairu., and if both are bad then I'll just punish you, Rah, Liam, Angle and Chewin.
Yo Loli.
The Neptunia Dub is really solid.
Plutia referenced Viewtiful Joe.
****'s hype.
Guest_Puddi III_*
I actually still need to watch the neptunia anime.
The dub has alot more references to games and stuff, and the dialogue is changed so the jokes translate better.
And I generally like the English voice cast of Neptunia more anyway.

It's a fun show.
Especially if you need more Nep in your life, and really. Who doesn't?
You guys should play Ar tonelico...
Yes. Everyone should. Especially Clones.

I know. I just got finished watching it.
link looks sketchy, what anime is this?
It's a tumblr link. I know that tumblr is a wasteland of insanity but the link is quite safe.
i dont know why but ever since I found the attack on titan hentai subreddit, all the doujinshi plots for Eren is him having a hard time getting hard and his sister Mikasa coaxing him through intercourse.
I know. I just got finished watching it.
you can hear the utter despair in her voice.
That was quite a few posts to get through
Neptunia game? Silly and entertaining. Can't blame if anyone is put off by the cute, the attention on the design of a few characters and such but what the game is more aware of that than the player will be. They are already ahead of you making fun of it and anything that somehow end up in it's view will be turned into comedy. Gameplay is decent, can be a bit dull when lvls need to be grinded but I always shut down my brain for those segments. By the way Plutia is mine
Neptunia anime? Just like the game it's silly and entertaining but a lot of that do come from having played the games and being familiar with what Neptunia is. Otherwise the show might just not work at all but I can't tell since I watched it after playing.
You won't have to punish me, rah or chewin. Hikigaya is waiting for you so you better be ready for him!
Yupp, no chance of that happening, I just know House will at least like and enjoy Oregairu. If he will like it to the extent that we do is hard to tell but it got a few things that he will totally appreciate, like Hiki!
And I need to finish the first game.
Do it!
wutcha talkin bout? atack on titan is as great as ever! I dont see no holes! Except that one big one. With the face in it.
Well recently its gone down a big slope.
But anyway.
S1 is still good. Its popularity won't really affect my opinion on it.
Seems like when stuff is 'overrated' it somehow makes another person bitter towards it.
AoT is good anime. And I think the manga was good until recently.
Just that most of its fans haven't really watched anything better or they just have pretty boring taste. So they tend to think its the best thing since bdsm because AoT does some serious things whilst remaining a fun shounen to watch.
I know because I see tons of them.
If you have facebook just go and like the Mangafox and Mangapanda and Manga-whatever pages.
You'll see tons of moronic "If you think anime is for kids then you should watch Akame ga Kill!" Or a bunch of weeabo shyt like "I wanna live in Japan!"
lmao.
everytime you diss attack on titan Dio gets someone to kick a dog.
You monster.
Because of its popularity, AoT has started to feel like SAO.
LOTGH is really popular amongst its niche.
And many in that niche are obnoxious pr!cks.
Conversely you'll get the opposition of thinks its way overrated and cherry-pick its flaws to get an argument out there.
If something is extremely popular in its own right, you'll always find a bunch of morons that come with it.
Like KLK and it "saving anime." It was really good and fun as fcuk to watch but yeah... no.
Apart from Jojo.
Everybody who loves Jojo is a good person.
Anyway.
Don't like the twists in Gintama.
It's pretty much destroying the emotional impact of another certain reveal.
Just stop with that sh!t Sorachi.
Don't try to overcomplicate things.
ETA:
Could go the other way around and change Gintoki.
But I doubt it will.

A really good example of this in the Witcher and Soul's fanbase. God they are so ****** bad.
ah something we can all agree upon. Stardust crusader is s-tier anime.
Well, I look at it like dating - check out who/what's out there, see what fits in compatibility and appeal. Ideally you find that special something, pick the right dialogue options with the love button and the rest is history. Since I don't have any other shows lined up, I'll do my best with Hunter X Hunter. You like to hop around a bit so I implore you to stick with this until the end.
Hisoka tho ![]()

Having a surprising amount of fun watching their trials & tribulations. The episode with the "8 hour Catch Test" reminded me a bit of Aang Versus Bumi, albeit a good deal more playful in tone.
Hisoka tho
I know I know but HxH takes a while to get into.
So that's why I'm saying that.
With 100+ episode series I think its best to give it a longer trial.
Good thing you liked it right off the bat.
Because you have no idea just how good this series gets in its latter half.

I didn't mean that the community are pricks. But more along the lines of; It was awesome back then when I watched it, also because of the hype, But between back then and now I have come across so many anime, alot of them that are imo beter than AoT.
Ofcourse most of those are also popular, but not on the same level of AoT - atleast thats how it feels to me.
I don't know what I just said made any sense, but whatever ![]()
Well yeah.
LOTGH >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> AoT
Wait... let me think of shounen.
Simple.
HxH >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> AoT
I responded because I'm not really fond of the line of thought that comes with extremely popular things. Yeah, it's annoying as hell, but it
it shouldn't discredit the anime itself.
It's not as good as these hype-drunk fans make it out to be, but it's still pretty great.
Tho' I get how it can be when the only thing you hear from drones is how great Y is and how great X is when you know it's either sh*t or you've seen better.
Apart from Jojo.
Jojo is better than hype-drunk fans make it out to be.
