So from what I heard Oregairu episode 11 has been rushed so it could finish up Vol 11.

 

Oh well at least I'll get to see the infarmiry scene.

 

BUT! The Oregairu translator actually translated the synopsis for ep 12 and 13 and as it turns out they're going to give us a sneak peek to vol 11! I think finally understand why they had the whole Yukino and Yui walking away in the snow in the OP  .

Only if you want to be more efficient at getting reactions from clones. Which is a totally valid reason for watching anything.

But otherwise, if you want to watch a show about a high-school girl getting transported to a fantasy world to fulfill her destiny, you're better off watching The Twelve Kingdoms.

They could have easily ended this season with Volume 10 if they hadn't rushed the last two episodes as much as they did. Now they're probably going to end it somewhere in the middle of Vol 11 or on a cliffhanger of sorts that will scream; buy the LN!, which kind of sucks for people that only watch the anime.

We were on about suspension of disbeleif.

 

Surely you have to admit that your value for realism in anime that doesn't really need any is far higher than most. At least, you tolerate things like Joseph Joestar pulling a Tommy Gun outta his back pocket far less than a lot of peeps.

 

As for your facts, it's hard to come with any. Statistics? Is there any sort of numerical value placed on 'suspension of disbelief?' "Oh I think mine is a 4." Yeah, it doesn't really work.

 

But what I can work with, and yes, I'm appealing to popularity here, is the hundreds and thousands of people who love One Piece, Hunter x Hunter and Jojo.

 

Forget about quality for a second, but just how willing these people are able to accept things you really can't.

That is heavily exaggerating it, as always House.

Considering that HF is the last route, which requires one to have seen all the other two routes, it would be heavily confusing, and missing a lot of vital aspects.

Pretty sure when HF movies are out, a lot of anime viewers will complain about missing characterization and so on. HF doesn't really work as an adaptation, especially if it stays 99% to the source material.

Let's see what it handles.

-Zouken and his goal is covered

-Kotomine's entire character(and where he is the most complex)

-Sakura and her stuggles are a major focus

-Sabers ideal (yes it handles it, just in a way not alot of people would expect and yes this very aspect was in fact foreshadowed heavily by Zero Rider)

-Rins trauma and failure she feels is focused

-Illya's entire conflict is a massive focus

-The only route Shirou finds out the entire truth of Kiri and thus starts the massive character change for him (that Rah is enjoying btw)

 

All of that was also was left unanswered at the end of Zero, and none of that is answered in UBW.  They could have still adapted UBW but labeling UBW as a continuation of the fourth war is not going to work as it is the most stand alone route in terms of connecting to past events. Where every major focus in HF connects heavily to the fourth war.

Enjoyed Oregairu this week. A bit rushed but it had the infirmary scene and the usual awesome dialogue between the characters. Hopefully the show can manage to not fall into any pits with the 2 episodes that are left and Oregairu can be marked as the 2nd large surprise of ongoing shows. Just keep doing the same or hopefully improve on the few things that are possible to do so, like pacing.

I admit you're going to have to add me to the grumpy pile if they **** up HF. I mean after watching KnK3 I'm a lot more confident that they aren't going to tone down the darker content but it being my favored route, I could see it working rather well just running with the idea House put forth of acting like it's a sequel to FZ.

Hell, as much as I loved reading UBW, Zero and Fate would be all that's truly necessary to understand most things come HF cause from what I understand DEEN already covered the big spoiler of UBW in their Fate adaptation.

I didn't say they didn't have to adapt UBW tho.  They should have marketed it better. It is a fact that many Zero onlies went into UBW expecting a continuation(not the ones expecting Fate/One, that's a whole different crowd and I'm not getting into that can of worms) and many things that Zero made a deal with are unanswered. It also does not help that there is so much unnecessary Saber or even changing her character which does further damage in UBW.
