Shoe on the other foot sorta thing. You personally don't do it as much, but there is a large amount of harassment and elitism directed at me, especially recently. If you all were a little more respectful I'd probably go into Berserk with a better mindset.
But right now, the work is tainted in my eyes. So yeah.

Had a good time with this episode and that come down to a few reasons where Gil being Gil obviously make up a large part of it. I also did like the small flashback with him just to give visual representation that while wearing fabulous clothing now he once was the great leader of a proud people which do influence how he look at current civilization. That said I like the flashback for "Assassin" even more just for Ufotables decision to go with the art that they did. It really managed to capture the feeling of him being fictional. Visually the show did as well as it usually does. The episode didn't blow minds but it was of an overall good quality which I can appreciate. Hopefully Ufotable will be able to step it up a notch or two with the last 2 episodes and finish UBW with greatness I hoped it would when this season started.

 

 

Great UBW episode! They got Gil right with the flashback, as well as two of the fight scenes. Ufotable did great! And next time will be even more awesome!

 

Wonder what Chewin thinks of Gilgamesh thus far, considering he said he would wait and see how he turns out to be. Would love to hear his impressions on what Gil said. Speaking of which, where the hell is the guy?

So Fate has continued to deliver strongly, and it is nice to see that it hasn't lost its touch. This recent episode was great, visually pleasing (Ufotable upped their ante with this one). Can't believe last episode is next week. Been only anime that I have been following on a weekly basis. Have to start a new show. Probably gonna watch Seraph of the End or Oregairu.
