Comparing yourself to a character who repeatedly screws himself over due to his own overconfidence is probably a bad idea. Just saying.

I don't see how a bent sword, which would be a major disadvantage for the wielder to strike an accurate blow (which is highly important), is considered stupid.

You certainly do have some strange standards.

 

Because even a bent sword (especially in the case of a cutting swords, where bent = more cutting power) still cuts and is deadly.

And since this is a simoultaneous attack from 3 sides, a slight bend would have 0 impact on creating an "opening".

He could use a stick and it would still connect

I do know the difference. You do the first 1 absolutely loads if you're unaware of this then I have nothing to say to someone so deluded.

You're missing the point. Obviously the sword would do damage, but a bent sword would make a regular swing not hit the same range as it should nor would it do exact same damage as it should, because the wielder is swinging it under the impression the sword is still intact.

Still watching Princess Tutu. Up to episode 22 now. Things are getting really interesting. If it keeps getting better, it might even have a shot at taking a spot in my favorites. It would need a particularly good finale for that though.

At least at this point I can safely affirm that's it's not going to get dumped in the list of "good but forgettable" anime. There's nothing forgettable about this show.
