I dropped that after a few episodes. Incredibly dumb lazy protag, stalker cousin love interest because why the eff not, loli fox girl familiar who immediately brings pedo comedy garbage and even the fight scenes are garbage with garbage CG.

That other one was Oda Nobuna no Yabou.

Not for me, but Fidite seems to like it so, you know... it must be good...

LoTGH is a pretty big investment at around 100+ episodes, but the payoff is even bigger. It covers virtually every facet of War & Politics and will get you invested in their large roster of characters. Large Tactical Battle episodes, Lore-Heavy Episodes, there's plenty of variety. There was a point I'll admit I got a bit bored halfway in, there's a *lot* of political discussion in the series and it may not interest everyone. Eh, it's worth a try at least.

Yup.

 

It's really good.

 

But it's defo not for everyone. Still I think it simplified democracy and autocracy enough for most people to watch it. It isn't really overly complicated like GITS can be.

 

I love my politics in fiction and history books even tho' I cbf with following anything irl.

 

So this show was like, made for me.

Yeah, the politcal aspects are conveyed easily enough for people to understand what they are talking about, but they aren't simplified to such an extent that it would come across as "primitive" shall we say, since it takes up focal aspects and causes needed to make it authentic.

But the military tactics can be confusing, both in terms of strategy used and especially if one doesn't recall certain lore tidbits that gets dropped here and there, for one to understand why exactly the ships are limited to certain moves, use of weaponry, and so forth.

It's pretty badly organised but it's the best place to watch it.

 

Kiss is another option.
