Ah thanks. Don't even recognize most of the ones on that list tbh
I sadly do.
I've only seen the anime from Strike the Blood, Accel World and Mahouka and I can say that those don't deserve that high up the list.

Sim: That's exactly why I realized over the last few years that seinen are definitely more up my alley. That's not not to say I can't enjoy a good shonen as well (especially since I grew up on it and shoujo series), I just tend to find my my brain tickled more as a whole with seinen protagonists and such. Mental stimulation while not always 100% needed, usually does enhance my appreciation of a series if I have to step back and think for a while. Hence why I give the Yakuza arc in BL so much love, cause while I started the series series with the intent to have some fun, said arc tickled my brain in in such wonderful ways.
Also yeah, apologies for derp typos and such lately, folks. It's been too damn hot here to run my my pc and auto correct has has a mind of its own.
It's why I love HxH so much too.
It's a shounen.
But most of the characters feel human.
And the two main protagonists are challenged particularity well through out the Ant Arc.
Also, from the seinen I've read/watched the protagonists are generally far more grey. Aside from whatever ideas and complex themes seinen bring up, you'll get a cast of characters that aren't so endearing.
P.S
This DVD sales list for the Japan's first half just hurts my soul

Sure are a lot of shitty light novels out there, from the looks of it.
Oh Maou-sama is #3.

That always boggled my mind.
The anime sold pretty well from what I remember and it has good LN sales yet they still haven't made another season.

It's funny how Japan has so many amazing things and a bit sad when you see how little recognition some of them get
Like Zero Escape! God damnit Japan, this VN is amazing!

There surely must be a compelling economic reason for that ...

White Fox did Akame ga Kill, so their decision making lately is becoming suspect.

Sim is teasing me, Recon.
You can't just lurk here, not reading, until you see a picture and make assumptions.

It's ironic when the implied does the implying.

I'm deep into appreciating villains over heroic characters that it's not even close. Learning why they ended up the way they did and just see them dealing with it and if they'll walk a path of redemption or continue on a path of less acceptable stuff. The reasons why I've found them has obviously changed but not once has villains been cast down from 1st spot by the good guys.
One of many reasons why worlds like Berserk is something I find interesting.. why did x end up as screwed up!
White Fox did Akame ga Kill, so their decision making lately is becoming suspect.
The paaaaaaaaaaaain! The suffering! Whyyyyy!
Wouldn't trust them with anything right now

They really need to make a sequel for that VN already.
Should be on its way since they're teasing it thankfully. I will seriously book a week off of work just for that. Have hardly taken any time off in 2 years but that VN would soooo be worth it

I am not sure what my tastes are. I don't mind Highschool age kids in slice of life and comedy animes like Oregairu. For action ones, I prefer people in their 20s and older. Young kids in that type of stuff bug me now a days.

Well age is always a thing that pretty much means nothing to me just as long as the characters are handled well within the context they're given.
ETA: Sh*t. Just had massive deja vu.
