Well age is always a thing that pretty much means nothing to me just as long as the characters are handled well within the context they're given.

I know it shouldn't, but it just does. I like older more experienced individuals do the fighting which might be why I prefer the side characters more. I like to relate to the characters, and it is hard for me to relate to a 12 year old talking on a giant.

I really don't see much of a pattern in antagonists, protagonists, side characters, background shrubbery etc. being good characters. Good characters are good characters. But everyone's leaving protagonists out, so I'll leave Spike, Revy, Motoko, Joseph, Araragi, Kougami, etc. for your consideration.

Yo Sim, I'm finally on season four of HxH! Not sure how much this season will actually interest me, personally I find the whole " we're in a video game " story or tropes to be kind of lame. But, I'm so ****ing excited because the ant arc is slowly getting closer. After you constantly hyping it up I don't know what I'll do if it sucks... probably track you down, destroy your anime collection and force you to watch one weeks worth of MLP and Hannah Montana back to back.
Thing is, it's not even a trope in there cos they're not in a game.

But yeah, Greed Island isn't the best of things since it comes after the amazing Yorknew Arc.

That's good to hear. Yeah, I know my tastes can be picky since it goes against what a lot of people here think. I don't try to come across as cross and always arguing. I just have a hard time not to tell my opinion on the matter if it's something I am interested in.
