Oh yeah not going to lie about that. Seeing Kyouko at her very best and even more fleshed out makes me forever love that story no matter what. It was a treat!


Well there are already at least a dozen or close to as many spinoffs so that sounds reasonable

The talk about a proper sequal seem to always end up with them wanting to make more PMMM stuff but that's what any producer would want to say about something that they completely nailed.

I mean normal Kyouko is amazing already fighting wise, her with that one technique she uses in that is just awesomely OP

PMMM the TV series, and then TRS the movie afterwords is the main works.

so I did see everything. all 3 movies and all the episodes. What alt timeline are you tlaking about? do you mean that as a remake? Or as in, the story switching timelines again via world reset?

Right now there's Magical Oriko which is 2 volumes and an extra bonus one (which is more of an alternate timeline of the other 2) Kazumi Magica which is a 5 volume spinoff, The Different Story which is a 3 volume prequel set in a different timeline, Tart Magica (only 1 volume out ATM) which is Joan of Arcs story (prequel I guess you could say), and 2 more different spinoffs coming out in the next couple months which are both based on Homura, one is more of a comedy though.

Oh and the games.

 

I've only read TDS. I still haven't got round to the others.

By the time one has gotten around to read one of them there are 3 more.

Kazumi is the only one I still need to finish. Of the manga spinoffs TDS is definitely the most worth it. Oriko is sort of interesting too. It's not as fleshed out but I like 2 of the magical girls in it quite a bit. Extra story was pretty cute too. Unreserved about Tart magica still.

TDS is the only "must read" IMO so far. One of the new Homura ones coming out in a few months looks interesting though. Got it preordered so I'll share my thoughts when I need it.

TDS is the best and only one I'd call a must read IMO. The rest you can read in whatever order and are simply decent.

And yes the ones listed are just the spinoffs. There's still the regular PMMM manga (3 volumes) and the The Rebellion Story manga (not sure how many volumes ATM, only available in English online ATM)
