JoJo's "homoeroticism" is really more played up by fans than actually exists in the anime. The anime just has jacked dudes who pose a lot in tight outfits... okay maybe there's a little bit, but they are silly poses with written sound effects.
Part three mostly has a sort of 'villain of the day' format (villain of the two days, rather) that I quite enjoyed. The plot is pretty simple in their 'journey to Egypt' so that's all that happens. I can't remember where the quote came from because I remember it sounding really trite even though people were like 'this really speaks to me mannn' but now I wish I did remember, but anyway, it was about how it's not the destination or the journey either, but the unexpected stops and detours along the way that really make it memorable. To add cliche on top of cliche, it's also not the journey, but the people you travel with. I think that's the story of part three, with a great cast and a villain of the day to end all villains of the day at the conclusion.
