I know I sound like an attention ****** right about now... I really don't know what to talk about with the anime thread since everyone watches different animes than I do and I just wanted to be friends with everyone here. Sure, I act rather strange at times and I'm really not understandable every now and then, sure I make a stupid post every now and then that doesn't make sense. 

 

I feel left out, and I've made it clear to myself that I don't need to talk about things I don't know about. This is to prevent me from looking like an idiot. 

1.If someone is talking about an anime I know little of, how can I take part in that conversation? 

 

Rah used to poke at me some and now I think he's got me blocked or ignored. For House, I am sure I'm already blocked, since that conversation a while back pretty much angered him if I recall correctly. I've tried to have a conversation with him once and was ignored completely. 

 

2.I'm very different from the rest of you guys. My tastes, some of the animes I have watched and never gotten around to watch. 

 

I get on BSN because I want to be friends with the anime thread. I really don't post elsewhere. 

1. You watch that anime or you simply don't react to that poster's post. When I see someone talk about an anime I don't know anything about I don't react to that poster since I could add nothing of value. Well besides asking that poster his opinion on that anime of course.

 

2. Watch anime that the people in this thread have watched/are watching. Yeah I know that your taste is different but there are a lot of anime you can give a shot that people have watched in this thread like:

 

-Madoka Magika

-Fate UBW/Zero

-Hunter X Hunter

-Oregairu

-Fullmetal Alchemist

-SSY

 

You can also pick up a summer anime. That way you can watch along with other people that are watching the anime.

@ Impulse: You could send House and Rah apologies and explain to them that you just want to be friends and that you are sorry for your past behavior and are doing your best to get along. You could tell them that you just don't know what to post and are lonely.  

 

One thing that you could do is start posting a list of your favorite anime and listing off what you like about them. You could also start leaving reviews of the anime you watched and whether you'd recommend them or not. If you do that, then you might end up being able to have a discussion about it. You'd be surprised how much anime and which ones that people here have seen. A while back I went out of my way to try to watch something new that no one here had seen before and then I came to find out that both Rah and Liam had already watched it XD 

 

I do get where you are coming from as I sometimes have the same issue of not having anything to talk about anime wise. I probably go overboard too, when talking like a perv and cracking jokes, but I try to moderate it a bit. The other day though, you went extremely overboard and nearly scared of N7 (the new guy), there's a time and place for everything.

 

I'm not trying to lecture you, I'm just trying to explain to you why some might view you unfavorably.

The reason I don't have you on ignore is because I was a lot like you when I was younger. I was way worse too, I did stupid crap like making sock puppets on a forum and having a war with them and "trying to defend the forum", I also spammed gifs and images. I grew out of it though and because of that I know you'll mature. It's a matter of when, not if. So, I don't think you're a bad guy, you just got some growing up to do (you're still a kid after all).  

Just work really hard to show them that you mean well and try not to go overboard with everything and they might take you off their ignore (if you are on there).

Well, I've decided to give Rosario + Vampire a try since I have stumbled across it on netflix, and I've also taken a couple of Impulse's suggestions. I thought he would have liked to know.

 

Heaven's Lost Property I can tell is a very wacky show, though it may not really be of my tastes. However, I am so far liking Fate/Zero and might watch that currently. Not saying HLP is bad, but it's not for me.

Isi, I recently read some comments about the SSY manga and I wanted to make sure if it was true or if it was just some people talking nonsense and since you're the only one that read the manga.

Well, I've decided to give Rosario + Vampire a try since I have stumbled across it on netflix, and I've also taken a couple of Impulse's suggestions. I thought he would have liked to know.

Rosario + Vampire is not that great, not even for a Harem anime and I've seen a decent amount of harem anime.

 

Fate Zero is a very solid anime. It's one of the only anime I've given a 10.

I heard impulse scared off somebody which is why I came back here. I don't know what a Fairy Tail DP is either. It's more Bleach that I enjoy to trash more than Fairy Tail. They're like companion pieces of each other as far as my opinion goes. Bleach tries to be deep and complex, but the way it's executed makes it come off stupid. Whereas Fairy Tail is proudly simple and stupid. And doesn't try to be anything more than it is. Which I enjoy it for.

SSY manga is smut though, what happens therein doesn't really matter.

I know that it has a ton of unneeded fanservice but I'm still curious if the author would have gone that far.

 

If it did then I'll still pretend that it didn't happen of course but my curiousity really wants to know.
