I've heard that Sora no otoshimono is genuinely pretty good though. Apparently it's really funny but get's kinda serious later on with mixed opinions on that part. At least when it comes to the anime. Not sure about the manga.

 

Give it a chance. If you like the anime read the manga, which is more detailed and fleshed out.

SN is a deconstruction of the harem and eroge really. More so with dat HF normal end.

The main problem with the SnO anime is that there are certain things in the manga which could have easily been used in the anime and they were never in the anime, (I cannot stress the Ikaros Melan clones enough!) and some things in the anime felt out of place compared. 

 

But that's to be expected with some anime adaptions. If you guys want a review on SnO I can provide one. Give me a day or two since I'm too tired right now.

They certainly isn't a studio I'd want adapting anything, dear me there've been some depressing results

Regarding SSY I honestly don't remember. Will have to double check. Other then a few parts I try to forget as much of the manga as possible since it sort of butchers the **** out of the story at some parts.

You have a weird mix of wanting to be someone who says things people dislike and wanting to be friends with people. The two don't particularly walk hand in hand.

Personally I despise harems, and in order for me to even consider giving one a chance I need recommendations for it from people I trust that know my tastes and understand what in a story draws me in. To date Bakemonogatari is the *only* harem I've seen that doesn't come off as pure garbage to me.

But yeah if you want to talk with other people more you really need to start finding some shared interests. And to some degree you have to be a bit more mature. I get that you're the youngest person here and that makes it harder, but you've made some posts that have really alienated a couple people in the past, hence why they blocked you, not sure if you can fix that, I'd recommend apologizing to them and making an effort to learn what you did that bothered them so much, but whether they will listen to you at this point or not is up to them.

Maybe it sounds like I'm giving you **** here. But since you seem to care and be bothered by things I felt it was worth it to be honest with you.

Sim, Vroom and Loli, listen to what they've said. You have people genuinely trying to give you advice and I suggest you take it.

Oh yes, one can after all take elements from many kinds of genres without actually becoming part of it. What really decide what genre a show is seems to change all the time though so who knows what will be considered what not too long into the future

Pretty much the only harem I enjoy is Bakemonogatari.
Which is obvious as to why, to anyone who is familiar with it.
