Done with "I can't understand what my husband is saying" season 2 and the void that is left by the 3-4 min episodes is noticeable. I want more

But their designs really grind my gears.
You had the same first impression as me then.
It still became one of the best single arcs in an anime.
Also, I'm digging this.
Some great things about this anime so far and some so-so things. The short version (as if I give long versions), the music and animation are top-notch and I like the setting (sorta Jade Empire esque), but the dialog is a bit wooden and there have been some contrivances in the story already that I don't think I'm happy with. Not enough for those aspects to be bad, but room for improvement I think.
The dub is also good. I hear Toboe's stupid voice from Wolf's Rain. Balsa sounds and acts like Motoko like I expected, but not the same VA.
