Battle of Gods movie- Vegeta at SSJ2 is stronger than Goku at SSJ3

I died, went to Other World, and was allowed to come back. God, my feels were all over the place.

I bet that movie restarted the Vegeta/Goku debate all over again lol

Vegeta is DEFINITELY better than Goku. Vegeta's a better dad, Vegeta's a better husband, he's just a better family man. Way more responsible and reliable.

Then you have his character progression. That whole plot, including his days as Majin Vegeta, were amazing. (That sacrifice, gaaah)

Always trying to keep up with Goku, and then FINALLY surpasses him in the Gods movie(until Goku becomes a Super Saiyan God, obviously).

How did it happen? Well, spoilers bros-

Bills(the God of Destruction of the 7th Universe) was about to kill Vegeta, but Bulma refused to let him do it. It was her birthday, and she was pissed, so she slapped the hell out of him, and then he straight WACKS her.

Vegeta, seeing this, goes freaking mental. Remaining a SSJ2, he actually HITS Bills a few times, something SSJ3 Goku could NOT DO EVEN ONCE.

Master Roshi even says that Vegeta's done it. For that brief time, he got it done. Another reason for it is that Vegeta is purposely avoiding SSJ3 to focus on mastering SSJ2, unlike Goku who just shoots for the top and hasn't mastered SSJ3 yet.

So hey, props to the Prince(yeah I'm biased) of all Saiyans. He IS the best.

Oi, and at the end of the movie, Vegeta says that the next in line to become a Super Saiyan God is him- now THAT I want to see.

Well yeah. If Broly attained the equivalent SSJ levels of Goku and Vegeta(including SSJ4 and SSJG), holy hell.

I honestly believe that if Broly became a Super Saiyan God, he'd be able to kill Bills.

I liked how Broly toy'd with everyone in his movies

Broly would probably be able to kill Bills as a SSJ2 or SSJ3, because remember his power never stops growing

Yeah, I should've mentioned that he's technically NEVER going to be SSJ or anything like that.

He'll be LSSJ and above. I doubt he'd ever become a LSSJG though, since to become a Super Saiyan God you need the power of six pure-hearted saiyans.

Goku's were-

Himself, Vegeta, Trunks, Gohan, Goten, and Pan(from inside Videl's womb).

Not sure ANYONE's gonna agree to let Broly go that far.

Well he sorta wouldn't have to, because if he was still alive and had proper combat training. By the Majin Buu saga he would already be stronger than Super Buu (who is the strongest of all Buu forms including Kid Buu, and gave a SSJ3 Goku a hard time)

So by the time Bills show up Broly's power would either by on par with him or slightly weaker depending

I think you're GROSSLY underestimating Bills' power.

Remember, SSJ3 Goku couldn't do ANYTHING to him. Couldn't land a single hit.

No one could, barring two people- Vegeta as a Super Saiyan 2 after seeing his wife get clocked by Bills, and Goku as a Super Saiyan God.

Broly could still get absolutely wiped by Bills unless Broly rose out of his normal LSSJ level to something like a LSSJ2 or 3. Even at LSSJ2 I don't think he's remotely close enough to do anything serious to Bills. At LSSJ3, he'd put up one hell of a fight, but I don't know if he'd win.

Thats the thing, I don't know how a Super Saiyan God compares to say a Super Saiyan 3, or a potential Legendary Super Saiyan 3 form.

I still think that the only way any saiyan is going to beat Bills is if they become a Super Saiyan God. And even in the fight with SSJG Goku, Bills was only fighting at 70% of his power, and he STILL made Goku give up and quit.

I'm assuming you're still talking about the other levels beyond the first one because he's been a regular Super Saiyan before.

I was referring to the fact that he's not a normal saiyan, thus can't hit the normal Super Saiyan levels. His SSJ transformations are really LSSJ transformations- the legendary forms.

For example, a regular Super Saiyan has to maintain control over their form, as they'll gradually lose the power to hold it as time elapses. Broly doesn't have that problem- as a matter of fact, he gets stronger the longer he's in his LSSJ form. Add that to the fact that just like any saiyan he gets stronger if he comes back from the brink of death, and you have a SERIOUS problem.

Remember, King Kai asked Goku and Pikkon to go to Hell and calm Broly down because he was going crazy down there. He was probably using Frieza, Cooler, King Cold, Cell, and a bunch of other Hell-residents as rubber balls.

Ehh. I'd rather see Vegeta hit SSJG and have his own, "I beat the bad guy" moment than have Broly show up and have some ridiculously OP form of his own that outclasses everyone.

Meaning lets not have Vegeta turn SSJG in the same movie as Broly's return, hahaha. Unless Goku and Vegeta combine their SSJG power to beat that ultra badass OP Broly.
