Yeah, we used to have like an ant infestation at my summer cottage, which was annoying as hell when there literally were ants everywhere.

Should be done with it at some point tomorrow night. Still enjoying the show a fair bit. The whole rival president "thing" has run its course and hopefully wont take up screen time for much longer. Dragged on maybe an episode too long but in the grand scheme of things it's not a larger issue or so. The girls are what are interesting and while I don't really got a clear favorite it's a two horse race at this point. Show is still better than expected which is always pleasant.

Yes, yes, yes. That's exactly my thoughts on him too. He stick out too much by being so jarring. Now that he instigated the two Chihaya epsisodes make me ignore some of that but it just dragged on too long and perhaps Hibik's episode should've been caused by something else to remove just a bit of him.

Seriously though, when I am in the mood for some light-hearted cutsie stuff I will give Idolmaster a try.

I love my grimdark stories where the protagonist's best friend rapes his lover and murders his companions through demons.

 

Or when a Scandinavian King usurps the throne and begins to see his father's dismembered head talking to him.

 

And stories that kill majors characters at their weddings.

 

They warm my heart.

A couple days ago I sat down and finished Plastic Memories, it was really good. The characters were all fun and interesting, especially in terms of their backstories. The plot was unique; it was about recovering androids from their owners. The show reminded me a lot of Angel Beats! and I think that's because both shows are about dealing with loss and moving on. The point of conflict in Plastic Memories is a good one which I won't spoil, but becomes apparent a couple of episodes in. Although Androids were commonplace, the world didn't have a futuristic look, so it's likely just meant to be an alternate of our world. 

 

Plastic Memories is worth your time, especially if you like sad shows with strong characters and messages. 

 

 

Also, the music is amazing! I'd give Plastic Memories a 9 out of 10; just like Angel Beats...

No worries, I'm loving HxH and all the misery it got going for it right now and after HxH I might give Monster a watch. At least a show that is just daaaaaaark! Darkness and evil is what fuel me so can't have too much happy and go-lucky!
