@Ghost Lightning and fulcrum290

Bad shota, Two high school harems, and bad Sci-fi? All of those would bore her to tears.

@eroeru
I already showed her Eden of the East which she loved, and she found the plot in .hack/SIGN moved to slow for her to watch.

Both Katanagatari and Samurai 7 look interesting.

Correction-

RWBY's voice acting is actually pretty good.

Is Samurai 7 the anime series version of the movie "7 Samurais"?

It's based on it AFAIK (never actually seen the movie). But in a futuristic setting with the bandits having giant mech bodies. The setting also has a bit of a "steampunk" feel. Maybe slightly post-apocalyptic too.

Episode 20 of Gintanama....it's allright.
But honestly I kinda expected more given all the praise I heared. Could the best parts are yet to come.

The Twelve Kingdoms is one of my favorite series, despite its many, many flaws. The biggest flaws being named "Sugimoto" and "Asano". They made quite a few improvements in the first story arc compared to the novels, but adding those 2 characters was a mistake.

That, and the series also ends on a low note. If they really wanted to keep going after "The Sky at Dawn", Queen Kyou's ascension would have been a better choice than "The Vast Spread of the Seas".

Still a great anime though. Youko's one of my favorite anime character, despite being completely unlikeable at the start of the series.

I'm a little surprised there could be an anime as big as Gintama without me even hearing about it until just today when I was browsing Crunchyroll and saw it had 279 videos for it, lol.

I'm done watching anime for the rest of ever. This sh!t is too sad.

It's emotionally taxing.

Here's some medicine for the soul.

Although it's not the ideal version. There's some weird scene transitions compared to my DVDs and the original ending song was cut off. At least all the actual content seems to be there, and it's easy to link to.

Word. I'm burned out on anime too though, now that I think about it.  Probably because manga is starting to fascinate me more for some reason. Just started reading History's Strongest Disciple two days ago.

Sometimes I just feel like I've seen it all when it comes to anime. I can predict the whole plot and ending by the second episode. >.>

I'm not watching as many series this season, so I'm not feeling burnt out. Then again watching Free! is more light-hearted and cancels out the dark tones of Danganronpa. Haha.

Also, while I'm here... Attack on Vocaloid!

@ Foxx lol, awesome

I decided to try out Blast of Tempest today, and it seems pretty neat. Other than that, I'm scrounging the internet for new episodes of series that are available to premium members on Crunchyroll. Fanslations are always interesting.

Has anyone noticed that there are a lot more series about unpopular main characters that don't seem to have the optimism of series in the past? Stuff like My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU and It's not my fault I'm not popular. Do you think that it's a genre shift done on purpose or do you think it's going to be a more common thing now that the newer writer's perspectives are different?
