Ok. I finished Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. The episodes about Part 2: Battle Tendency.

Since I'm not one for long posts I'll keep this brief.

 

That may be one of the greatest things I have seen in a long time. It was intense, funny, ridiculous, action packed, and I couldn't stop watching until I was physically unable to when my Wireless went down.

Well, as I said it wasn't for everyone. We all have different tastes and at least you gave Sora No Otoshimono a chance. 

 

Plenty of people love it. It has a nice fan base. Statham also likes it and several of my friends love it.

Okay well I just finished a 2 day binge watch of Clannad it was pretty good but.. spoilers for Clannad + After Story

Fuko and Nagisa were too much.. I would of rather seen more of Ryou, Kitomi, or Tomoyo. I looked up the episode list of After Story hoping it would focus more on Tomoyo (alternate ending episode?).. but it seems to follow the Nagisa story... bummer. The time travelling and random happy ending seems weird too. I also found myself rooting more for Youhei to get a girl(Youhei x Tomoyo plzkthx) than Tomoya. Tomoya was just meh too me. I dunno I might download the VN and play it before watching After Story (but the episode synopsis didn't sound interesting at all to me). I pretty much liked every character but Fuko, Nagisa, and Tomoya.. but  unfortunately two of them are main characters and the other was like a 9 episode arc.

 

Kotomi arc was the highlight I thought. After it finished the story kind of dragged on for me.

I liked Fuko the first five or six episodes she is in.. but then I was like okay.. let's start wrapping this up. More of her arc than the actual character I guess I disiked. She did make me laugh and almost cry, but whatever.. you win alright.. Fuko is okay.. I guess.. I won't budge on Nagisa or Tomoya tho.

 

And yeah I planned on watching HxH next, but I was gonna take a week break or so first to digest Clannad.

Could throw some classics your way like Bebop, Champloo, Hunter x Hunter and Brotherhood or maybe some Ghost in the Shell or Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

Well I got HxH, Angel Beats!, Kanon, and Little Busters! on my 'planned to watch list'. I'd like something like Cowboy Bebop or Trigun tho I like the spacey westerns. I'm pretty new to anime. I haven't seen any of the ones you mentioned other than Bebop.

Well I can't think of any Spacey Westerns apart from Space Dandy, but that's really an episodic comedy.

 

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is something you can't go wrong with.

 

I mean, I could lead you to Legend of the Galactic Heroes, but I'm not sure how you'd handle a 110 episode war drama filled with politics, talking, tea and strategic battles.

 

 

Hunter x Hunter is f*cking godly tho' but make sure to watch the 2011 version.

 

There's tons really.

 

But for now, give Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (and I mean BROTHERHOOD) a try and also Black Lagoon.

 

Both have some of the best English casting you'll ever find, so you can easily watch it dubbed. Actually, I'd recommend watching FMAB and Black Lagoon dubbed since they aren't really based in Japan so you won't have the awkward pronunciations of Japanese names that English VAs have.

 

As for Angel Beats, Kanon and Lil' Busters... well they're all Key anime. I've seen AB and Kanon but I still think Clannad tops them all simply because of how great Afterstory is.

 

Everybody loves Angel Beats so I guess there's no problem there. I mean, I liked it enough, but my favourite thing about it is the comedy.

 

F*ck is that anime funny.

It took me 15 episodes to really get into it.

 

And now it's my favourite anime behind Legend of the Galactic Heroes and I've watched it six times in the last year.

I watched the Tomoyo one wasn't aware there was a Kitomi one. I saw there was a Ryou one too. Tomoyo apparently has a spinoff  too? I liked Tomoyo but..

I found her to be a little too mary sue I guess, but she was awesome maybe too unbelievable tho. Even in her arc she wasn't really wrong, her parents were jerks, and she more or less fixed herself right on up. All the other girls were kind of hopeless compared to her it seemed.
