So I caved and gave Monster Musume No Iru Nichijou a shot. In earnest, it was a heartwarming show that deconstructed what I like to think of as how society can percieve mismatched relationships sometimes. Back in my pa's day, a black couldnt date a white and this show offers some old social commentary that kids dont pick up on nowadays. Using monsters was a brilliant way to showcase this topic.
I wouldve legitimately loved this show. If it wasnt for the fanservice. a solid 4/10.
