and I will give Jojo another try. Apparently I have up right before it got good. At least that's what I have been getting yelled at about for the past month by my friends...
Sounds like good, dedicated friends who have your best interest at heart.

If you gave up before you met Joseph Joestar then you sorely need to remedy that mistake.

Not sure what sort of stuff of Narsus is painting, but I have a feeling that I have an idea. And I would approve.

Which episode you on, Fidite?
House isn't very impressed.
I liked it a lot initially, but that's been waining through out these latest episodes.
If you aren't delving into politics and merely power struggles then make that power struggle interesting.
I hope the second cour or whatever you wanna call it is better than the first seeing now how Arslan will (hopefully) become real oppossition.
Maybe a deeper look into the slave trade will help it. So far it's been pretty basic, but it works.

I haven't watched nay episode since 9. I might just drop it really since I just have no interest and each episode just gets more boring for me. It's like the anti LotGH for me. Where LotGH kept pulling me in every episode, Arslan keeps pushing me away.

Only just started the day before and just finished episode #5. So far it's pretty good. It appears to me that for now it's mostly about introducing new characters with the war being largely relegated to the rule of framework. Maybe the series will dip in quality once the characters are assembled and the story is too weak/out-of-focus by then, but for now I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

Haha yeah.
Like I said.
I'm a sucker for 'bend the knee' stuff, even if it isn't that good of 'bend the knee.'
LOTGH is a masterpiece tho'
Don't think many anime will be able to live up to its glorious story telling.

Well that's exactly what happens really.
After like episode 9 it's "oh noes they caught us!" And "oh noes we're running" with very little meaningful development actually going on.
Arslan's character development is predictable as f*ck and the only interesting characters anymore are DARYOOOON and Hisoka.
Buuut.
That might change after Arslan and company finally assemble their power and can be proactive for once.

I found Narsus to be quite da man and his relationship with Daryun (or rather, Daryun's relationship with art) should make for a fun character dynamic ... unless of course the completely ignored that in the show, but let's not paint the devil onto the wall (pun intended, Daryun, please don't spear me ...).

Even season 4 which is the weakest is still better then most stuff.

Pls
Everyone wants Daryun to spear them ;-)
And when I meant Hisoka
I meant Narsus
Since they share the same VA.
But Hisoka is obviously better.
Because Hisoka is just sex in a character.

'Weak' LOTGH is just weak for the show itself.
But it's pretty damn impressive in comparison to most things.
Yare yare.
He was too good for any world.

Yeah, I've seen that too. I mean, it's nice to have CGI for some tricky perspective tricks, but AS has been overdoing it a bit. I found it especially jarring when only a couple soldiers running through the streets (first or second episode) and you could easily see it was CGI from the awkward motions.

That's why Kingdom is kind of a sucky anime.
I think huge armies blow budgets
And animators get driven like slaves anyway.
However I do think its a good thing in the long run.
If somehow animation could work handrawn and 3D stuff together so it doesn't look crappy
Then maybe there's hope for cartoons yet!
I miss cartoon movies with huge budgets.

I would like to see every show/movie have the quality that Riders NP in Zero had, but that's a pipe dream.
