I hope it's not too expensive. If it is, you should just save up and build one from scratch.

On topic, I just finished watching Rail Wars.



It's basically trains and boobs. Quite excellent.

Money is not a concern, I have a lot saved up (thanks single life and living with my parents). I've been saving up for years for technology that doesn't exist yet, don't know what it is, but looking forward to it, lol. 

 

I've only had it plugged in and running since June 24th or maybe it was 26th, so more like 3 or 4 weeks (I had to get a monitor and wireless adapter for it). I bought it from a friend who I trust, so I know he didn't screw me, it was just bad luck/timing. I call it new, but it was actually a 2009. I only paid him $80 for it, the graphic cards inside it were worth that and that's all he wanted the money for, he threw in speakers and a keyboard as well.

 

My monitor cost me $110 from the store and my wireless adapter cost me $20 something by the time shipping costs were included. So it was only a $210 investment and I'll likely be able to salvage the graphic cards which are good quality from what I was told. I technically haven't lost anything, but I am still butthurt about it, because I wanted to try and cut corners for a couple of years with it. Plus, I am an idiot when it comes to technological stuff, so PC shopping is a pain for me. 

 

If he can't fix it then I'm going to give in and spend a thousand -that's probably not a good price, but I just mean I'm going to throw down some real money for a real PC that can run anything current- or so on some 2015 model.

About that, I'm out of the tournament or am down to using Duel Network at the moment. My Desktop fried itself, no more steam, no more PC gaming. I'm completely dumbfounded and pissed to say the least, I never so much as looked at porn on it (the bane of all PC Health). In fact, I only went to five sites on that computer; Good Old Games, SWTOR, DevPro, DevPro download, and my mail. My Dell just sits there beeping nonstop, it won't boot up, the fans won't kick on, nothing. My monitor reads "no signal" and internet searches has been less than helpful.

 

My friend who sold it to me is going to come look at it on Saturday, but isn't sure if he can fix it. We are speculating that it may be the battery or ram, but are unsure. So this is potentially my fourth gaming device that has died in the span of a year, following my PS4, PS2 and Xbox 360; getting really sick of my luck this year, especially considering how much I baby my gaming devices.  

 

Sorry to hear it dude. That sucks! I hope you can get it fixed soon and cheaply.

Watch better stuff. Fate Zero is decent but it's really just a start. Shin Sekai Yori, Madoka Magica, Zero Escape, Berserk (manga), Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Until you've watched/read/played at least one of these you're an anime scrub in my books.

But I got it for like 550 or 600 bucks on one site.

 

So if you do go that route make sure to look for good deals.

Mine still works great for me on like everything. It's a gaming PC that was made for high end gaming. And so far I have not gotten anything for it to make it better so yay me.

 

But for some reason it can't play DA:I on mid or high setting.

 

The blame is more on DA:I than my PC I think.

Thanks. If it's going to cost of $20 then I'll probably just get a new one. I can't really justify myself spending over 1/4 of the price that paid on something to fix it, especially when it only lasted me 3 or 4 weeks (awesome ones at that). I just feel that the risk of it happening again is greater than the risk of it not.

Will do. I'll more than likely follow BMW's advice and build a new one. BMW strikes me as highly knowledgeable about mechanical stuff like vehicles and PC's. PC's for sure, as I've seen him/her respond to various PC threads and speak of computer stuff that I cannot even fathom.
