So what did you think? What were these expectations? 10 is one of my favorite episodes or my favorite one, I think (it has been a decent amount of time).

I was expecting a show that would be all light hearted and such considering the art style and the magical girl thing, but I was proven wrong. It's got a nice dark story and tone to it and I wasn't expecting a few plot twists, such as the magical girls becoming witches in the end and such. Also, I was expecting that the characters would prevail through the storm and such.... no.... I was wrong. Several characters have perished already and I am expecting more to follow. Though I wouldn't be surprised if the MC makes a wish to bring them all back from the dead in the end. My first impressions turned me away, like said, due to the art style and the MC. But after some more time I've taken interest in it. 

The story is decent and the fan service is almost nonexistent, if not completely. It's a good anime so far. I hope the end and movie don't disappoint though.

The only generic villain in the entirety of HxH is Bomber in the Greed Island Arc.

 

But it also depends on what you mean by 'do with them.'

 

Are they gonna get a 'boohoo they weren't so bad afterall' backstory with justification to what they're doing?

Think I mentioned a while back that they were great because they were badguys but Togashi still wrote them to be human.

A not dead Hisoka is a good thing. Unless Gon kills him when he's like in his late teens early twentys. Then I would be fine with it. Though knowing Gon he would let him live.
