There's only one maid ... and her name's Roberta.

Spoiler Alert!

What happened to Roberta anyway?

She lost an arm and a leg in the anime but I don't think that ever happened in the manga.

For real? Was that during the Blood Trail thing?

Yep, during the blood trail. What the OVA hints at is Roberta hooking up with grown up Garcia. And frankly, I'd still not go up against even a crippled Roberta if she can do as much as move a single muscle. I'd rather duel Revy any time of the day.

Oh man, I gotta watch that when I can use my laptop again. This smartphone doesn't work on as many videos as I'd like. Although I'm surprised it worked at all.

I your own opinion, which Anime would call the best "Action-Based" Anime ever created?

Oh, that's a tough one. I would probably have to go with the easy route and say Ghost in The Shell.

I think I'm going to give One Piece a shot. Is it better subbed or dubbed?

For Ghost in the Shell, I mostly consider that Sci-Fi. For On Piece (Funimation, not the 4Kids crap) is mostly adventure and comedy.

For action, I'm thinking along the lines of DBZ (Completely Uncut).

Well, as far as that goes I don't think I've seen a series that does it better than DBZ. Though, the closest I've seen is Bleach and some Mechas, so I'm probably not the best judge.

I try to stay away from such hyperbolic acclaims tbh. Also depends on what type of actions you want, gunplay, martial arts, swords etc. In no particular order some of my personal favorites include Hellsing Ultimate, K Project, Fairy Tail, Fist of the North Star.

I prefer subs as a general rule, but One Piece isn't my cup of tea to begin with so idk.

I was tempted to put down Black Lagoon, and Sword of the Stranger is hella dope tbh.

One Piece's Funimation dub is great, but I like it in Japanese more.

Overall I say go read the manga, much better pacing.

Anyway I am going to Otakon tomorrow, everyone here wish me good luck or better yet give me money. I am going to have no cash by the end of this weekend. Meh.

You could just pick the pockets of all the unsuspecting fools in attendance to make sure you don't run out of money.

Great idea.

Nothing can go wrong with that.

No Bible Black. More action oriented imo.

When watching Anime, do you watch it dubbed, subtitled, or both? I personally go for both. I watch in English first to get a better understanding of what's going on, then I watch in Japanese.

99% of the time I prefer subs over dubs. The original audio carries the intended emotions and visions of the staff and cast. Regardless of how good any dub may be, it will only ever be a recreation of the original intention.

That being said, some dubs are really good, and there are like...2? Maybe 3? That I would say I prefer to the original audio.

Oh this discussion again. lol.

Subs over dubs for everything except FMA:B for me. Agreeing with Ghost, I find the emotions stronger in subbed, and the voices and lines suit the characters better IMO.

I'm actually currently watching the subbed version of FMA:B (on ep 19/64). I put it off for a while, but i gotta say, good stuff. Should have expected that though since it's done by Bones (who did Gosick, which I love).

Depends on the show and quality of the voice acting really. Sometimes I prefer the subs, sometimes the dubbed, sometimes I don't care. Steins;Gate is the most memorable show where I can say I'll never watch the dub. It's horrible as far as how I envision the characters sounding.

Not to mention the moments of Engrish would make no sense in the dub, kinda like Angel Beats! with TK.

Indeed, the Engrish should not be tainted, it's too awesome.

If I recall correctly, the dub is pretty bad. Maybe it's just the 4kids dub I'm thinking of, but I personally went to subbed for whatever reason. Not may episodes are dubbed though.

But the anime is pretty decent, but if you get into it just look forward to whenever it gets to around episode 230. Around that time and for awhile forward is the best anime I've seen, tbh.

On the subs versus dubs. Most dubs frankly are crap, now some that put pay and effort towards it like genom did when it was around, and a couple other titles such as Last Exile or while it might not be anime to some ,FF7:AC.

But overall too many companies hire voice actors that sound like they are reading from a script and putting no emotion into the work.
