 I actually stopped watching RWBY because of the creators death it seems like it probably won't continue. I hate getting into shows that don't properly end and just stop. 

 

To add on to what was said earlier, RWBY is continuing. Monty Oum's death only caused a bit of a delay along with bringing everybody together for some sad feels because damn he was amazing.

 

Monty had plans for RWBY that went almost a decade out. He told some of these plans to others so RWBY will continue as best as it can following his dreams for it.

Anyway,

 

Yesterday I did 2 anime related things that I didn't comment on yet because it was late and I had work the next day.

 

First, I watched God Eater and it's art style was something I didn't expect from Ufotable and it really took some getting used to. Don't know anything about the games so I have no clue were the story will go for now so I'll be wary. MC also seems very bland and considering this is a video game adaptation where the player can create his own character I'm not expecting a lot from him.

 

More importantly though, I watched Jojo Stardust Crusaders S2 in one setting yesterday and overall it was one amazing experience although I have to say that I personally prefered part 2's villians over the villian in Stardust Crusaders. 

 

I did enjoy the every episode another boss format because that way everyone had a chance to shine. This is something that SC did a lot better than Jojo 2012. It's also because of the different boss format that the confrontations between our heroes and the enemy were a lot of fun to watch since they were always put in a lot of different situations.

 

 

So yeah in short, it was pretty great and anyone should give Jojo a go.

All of episode 131 of HxH is a masterpiece with both visual and OST making leaps and bounds in improvement. For a few moments there I could only feel awe.

Alright, y'all wore me down on PMMM in the Humanity Thread the other day.  I mean, who doesn't like a good magical girl anime?

So I watched the first episode, and then I watched 11 more in rapid succession.  Things got real pretty fast.  Definitely an interesting twist on the genre.

I really enjoyed it, so thanks for the rec, kids!

So I had a question.  Even if I seen the Anime should I still try and read the Manga for the Anime?  I ask this because I been considering getting the manga to some of my favorite Anime. 

Manga usually continues past the anime, so yes. I'd recommend reading the manga of the anime that you enjoy most.

So I watched the first episode, and then I watched 11 more in rapid succession.  Things got real pretty fast.  Definitely an interesting twist on the genre.

I really enjoyed it, so thanks for the rec, kids!

There's a movie that ties everything off in a neat bow: PMMM Rebellion. Ignore the other two movies as they are quick recaps of the series. You'll either like the movie or hate it, but I loved it. It has really deep themes that are easy to miss, I missed a bunch of themes when I watched it.

There's a movie that ties everything off in a neat bow: PMMM Rebellion. Ignore the other two movies as they are quick recaps of the series. You'll either like the movie or hate it, but I loved it. It has really deep themes that are easy to miss, I missed a bunch of themes when I watched it. 

Well, that's next up in the cue then.  Gotta have something to watch with all these knitting projects I just started.

Definitely do watch the movie, people talk like it's polarizing but I think that may be overstating it a little, at least with the dust settled now.

Currently watching Chaos Dragon episode #2  ... god I hate that little Kai kid. Confronts a giant, armed man, gets rescued by Mashiro getting lethally wounded in his stead as she throws herself in front of him and then goes on to blame Ibuki for her death? Granted, he didn't get to see the whole contract deal thing going on, but still, that's a mighty stretch to go on about blaming someone else for her death when it was none other than him who was the immediate cause for her to get struck down as she was in the first place.

 

Stupid little runt. I hate this kind of blame-shifters "waaaa waaaa, my friend is dead and you killed her, the fact that I caused her to get slashed nearly in half beforehand is entirely irrelevant, waaaa waaaa" ...

 

 

Now let's see how the episode continues. With a bit of luck rocks fall and he's gone. Can't stand such characters.

 

Well, episode #2 done, little runt is dead. All is well that ends well.

 

 

But the show still makes me feel like I need a supplementary encyclopedia to properly understand it ... think I'll put it on hold for now until more episodes are done so I can binge them consecutively without having to wait a week with all the questions.
