Yeah. I'm sure Isi wants to know how great Ichigo is.
Not really, no

As does Geralt. **** Geralt.

Well I finished PMMM Rebellion. I must say... it ended very.... unexpectedly. In the good way, that is. I love what they did with Homura though.... she's personally my favorite character. The plot twist was very unexpected and I liked it.
Though not a fan of the animation, it kinda grew on me. The art style was rather... unique. Haven't seen much like it.
A good series from start to finish. It might even combat Gundam and Sora No Otoshimono on my top two favorites list.
O_o Bizarre Adventure indeed? It's a, uh, acquired taste for me.As Dio falls following his battle with JoJo, he decapitates himself before the ripple reaches his head, which is recovered by his zombie servant Wang Chung.
Yeah, I agree. The Labyrinth sections stood out very, very well. It was very fitting, too. What I was expecting and what I got were two very different things... which in this case, that's a good thing.
I enjoyed it. I'm glad I went back to watching it since it does take watching a couple episodes before things pick up. It also had well executed plot twists, which spiced everything up and made it far more interesting.

Well, Gate is a dissapointment.
Everything the manga did good, the anime itself does a bad job of following.
First, the arty style. It's Sword Art Online style. Too colorful and cartoony for the dark and serious atmosphere. Mass carnage scenes are.. not present.
The MC is made into a unlikable retard - he was a lazy Otaku in the manga, but at least he had his priorities straight. In the anime, as people are dying around him, all he is thinking about is the anime convention. That's not even funny.
Character design is horrible. In the manga, all the soldier/warrior women look their part. And they are women. The anime turns everyone into little lanky girls with big heads basically. The one hit worst is one of the muscular and stocky female soldiers who look like you'd expect from a real professional woman soldier. Not anymore.
About the ONLY thing I can think of the animr does good so far is to give Rory a slightly older apperance
Sometimes... the anime adaption doesn't do as well as the manga.
I've not read the manga of Gate, but as of the first two episodes, the anime has left me deeply unimpressed (admittely, it's hardly alone in that, this season seem pretty bad across the board...).
Question, is this a fanart? By chance can you tell me where I can find the artist and shower them with shameless praise?
Yes, Deviantart.com, Aikiyun.

Read the manga and avoid the anime for the time being. It's much better and I prefer being disappointed in light of bad adaptions instead of being alienated from good stuff because a bad adaption made the wrong impression.
@Lotion:
Aye. And the following is highly subjective of course, but when I heard Kuribayashi's voice-acting, I hardly could belief it. That hardass soldier sounded like your everyday anime schoolgirl ... urrghh.
In the name of all that is holy, what is a Nepu?!
Nepu Nepu is Nepu Nepu.
Don't listen to Puddi. He supports the villainess Arfoire.
Leave Bar ****** alone!

I wonder if they are gonna introduce both Papi and Centorea in the same episode.
Both have only 1 introduction chapter.

The next episode preview said so.
The Lotus is an important symbol in Buddhism, and Netero's powers are obviously based around his faith, literally and thematically. His main power is based on the bodhisattva Guanyin, who is described in Ch. 25 of one of the most influential sutras in Mahayana Buddhism, the Lotus sutra. So sure, you could say Togashi is "copying" something (to serve a purpose, as with other instances of such), but the thing he's copying is not so much your go-to show for spamming that "my animu is better than yours" trash... and you should probably reconsider before calling out someone else's lack of knowledge here.
I never though the day would come where I would call you an idiot. But here it is.
The joke went completely over the head. Or do you just fail at reading comprehension so utterly?
ROSE equals LOTUS. That was the whole point.
But you had to go full autist and into a completely irrelevant explanation of that guys power (which is based on Budhism, exactly as the other guy, so that's an argument that hurts you even more, if were to take the joke seriously)
Frak this, I'm moving to /a/ permanately.
Good. You and Dova belong there.
I don't want to be with Dovah. I want to be with the anime thread. So I try not to anger the entire thread.
Lotion, why would you leave us and choose to go with Dovah instead? That's just... moronic. Well, I suppose it's goodbye. Even though we don't know each other much. But to be honest, you're worse than I am.
And that's saying something.
And you need to stop playing with your awful waifus.
Next time I will use Puddi's waifu.
Madolche Puddingcess Chocolat-a-la-Mode.
Yay Lotion is gone! Thanks Puddi!
And yeah I want to also add something
That Togashi didn't rip-off anything here.
Like Naruto did the whole power based off of the Thousand-Hand Guanyin thing too.
And you don't see me saying Kishimoto ripped-off Togashi.
Well you do.
But not about this.
Because that would be stupid.
