Done with Puella Magi Oriko Magica and there's really not that much to say about the spin-off manga. It's so-so all on all areas. The premise of the story is great but since the manga is as short as it never get the chance to be fully develop and mature over time to find a the true heights that could be reached. The manga got the PMMM girls involved in some capacity which is both cool but also limiting since it remove time that could be added to the new characters. Did enjoy the extra time with the girls and since they were added it's probably for the best that they never really developed since I doubt the author would be able to avoid making them feel off. The art style is.. maybe alright with some characters, like Mami and Madoka looking fine enough while characters that have more aggressive facial structure like Homura and Kyouko looking at times quite odd.

If people love PMMM and want more at any cost then Oriko is not bad but if someone just enjoyed PMMM then don't bother, read Different Story instead. It's much better!

Yeah I felt about the same. Doesn't really add much to the series. It's a take it or leave it sort of thing. The art style I found a bit to.. Iono whacky for some characters but of others it was alright. So far TDS is the only one I'd say is worth going out of their way for a PMMM fan to read

I'm going to destroy any respect that you might have for me by saying that I liked Oreimo a bit, although I did find it very flawed. 

You already lost all my respect by saying Reconguista in G sucks.

Yeah I felt about the same. Doesn't really add much to the series. It's a take it or leave it sort of thing. The art style I found a bit to.. Iono whacky for some characters but of others it was alright. So far TDS is the only one I'd say is worth going out of their way for a PMMM fan to read

 

Pretty much, Orikio is the quick fix for more PMMM but nothing that people will die from missing

I'm not really a fan of the incest bit myself but I do think it's a bit short sited to write the series off just because of it. I think there is a bit of difference in culture here where it's generally looked down on more here then there (sort of)

I'm not sure though. Haven't watched it myself and it's not super high up on my list either.

It's okay, but I screwed up when I was watching it. I ended up having to switch sites for it and ended up accidentally skipping ahead to season 2, so I ended up finishing Season 2 before I finished Season 1. It says a lot about the plot that I didn't notice such a change.

The only thing I know is that the Japanese like Yamato Kira so much that they had to ban him out of the top 10 most popular male characters poll because even years after his show aired he still didn't lose his spot.

Yosuga No Sora's arc handles it a tad bit better but I think the anime that took the incest theme the best was KoiKaze.
