Episode 2 of God Eater was really good. Excellent visuals and soundtrack. And I actually don't mind the protagonist now. Also, Lindow is just a total badass. Can't wait for next week!

Man the relationship between Killua and Alluka is just so beautiful to watch. The struggles they've gone through and just how dearly they value each other is amazing. They are the reason why this arc isn't weak, they are far, far, faaaaaaar more interesting than anything else since the ant arc ended.

Well my workplace luckily put some money on a solid coffee machine, with some quality coffee as well as espresso and cappuccino to choose from.

So I'm quite pleased.

Alright a few more words won't hurt. It's been an epic journey with highs and lows but it's been a genuine pleasure to know that every night for two months that I've had something truly worth the time to watch waiting for me, especially after days where work has been dreadfully dull. HxH is by no means a perfect show but for 148 episodes it managed to bring something interesting with it and for the episodes that felt a bit mediocre I always knew that shortly something epic would happen. The Ant arc is the embodiment of awesome in so many aspects. Action, characters, story, antagonists (KIIIIIIIING), Komugi and how to reward the viewer for paying attention to exposition and build up.

 

HxH is in the top 10 alright, where I'll need to think about..
