Tom Hardy's great. Knocked it out of the park as Bane imo. The guy they cast for MCU Punisher is great. But I would've loved to see Tom Hardy in that role, since he did express interest.

 

Yeah, was also rather annoyed that he wasn't cast in Suicide Squad as he was originally meant to--due to him not liking the script IIRC. But eh, I know next to nothing about Rick Flag, so it doesn't really bother me that much.

 

But Hardy in The Punisher I could have gone for, for sure.

Err, or whatever it is called. It is the 'Kingdom of Falconia Guts' that I am interested in (would use it as a book stand since I am in a need of a new one, so two birds with one stone kind of thing). Plus it would look epic next to my Geralt of Rivia statue.

 

Of course, I'm not certain how much exactly it goes for (and if it is even available), so if it is too pricey, then a figma works fine.

There are so many ways you could make Suicide Squad awesome. But they involve firing Will Smith and making it R rated. And opening the film with Joker bashing Jason Todds head in with a crowbar. Traumatizing the kids in the audience.

Anyway, reason #407 why Hollywood would never let me direct.

Rick Flag isn't a great character. He's just there to have a straight cut army guy leading the Squad.

 

Yeah, Jon Bernthal is a great actor though. So I'm sure he'll do good in Season 2 of Daredevil and possibly Spider-Man.

 

There's a few MCU roles I could see Hardy in. But they are more C-List.

He's been a has been for years. Not to mention they had to axe off Arrow's Deadshot because DC's policies don't make any sense (The Ted Kord/Ray Palmer thing is a good example of this).

 

Jason Todd scene in graphic detail, then that. Because I'm a maniac. And if DC wants to be grimdark they should go for broke.

In other news: I followed bmwcrazy's suggestion and gave "A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn't Exist" a whirl. I am enjoying it immensely, although I find the lead to be an annoying whiner that needs to get over himself

Good god, the most attractive, funny and easily best character on the show wants you to team up with her and you're all like "No, I don't wanna be a terrorist. Anything indecent is awful!"

The show is really funny and is making me laugh quite a bit.
