But it does help that SDC did loads with its main cast.
Yeah Jotaro was the lead.
But Araki never made anyone else insignificant.
Oh I agree, everyone gets many moments to shine and they all play a role in the climax.

There's one point I think you should really think on Impulse and it's what Chris asked you ages back: what makes a strong character? (Well he asked female character but I think you should think about character in general)
For me it's not about how strong the character is physically, not even necessarily mentally or their ability to overcome obstacles.
A character can be crushed by the world around them, and to me still be a strongly written character. It's a worthwhile thing to think about IMO even if you don't come to the same answers I would.
I like characters I can spend lots of time just thinking about, and not thinking about the same thing. I mean characters where the more you think about them, the more you realize and the more you learn.
It's clearly Yuki-chan who can do like almost 9999 dmg if you build her right in P4G. ![]()
Look at Joseph Joestar.

ETA:
I died again

I am watching war in the pocket, in fact. Currently on episode five I believe. I'll finish it tomorrow. Then I'm going to start on Wing. (I've never gotten around to watching that series in fact) and 8th MS team.

Interesting. I have to agree with you though. There has to be more than simple battle power or something like that.
I haven't seen it personally, but I myself got interested by the show last year due to the premise, though found out through reviews that while it has a rather cool setting, its execution is mediocre at best. And it has a romance that apparently doesn't lead anywhere, and if you know me, I loathe such things with a passion.
But overall, it seems like an OK anime, which strengths primarily lies in its battles and animations, based on impressions that I've gathered. Don't recall anyone mentioning here whether they have watched it or not, but if so they can shed some more light on the matter.
I freaking hate when series 'tease' you with the possibility somethings going to happen but it never freaking does. It happens so much in Shounen which is less forgivable but I can't remember the name of the anime, I think it was Amagi Brilliant Park, they just tease you all the way through that the female character likes the main character but NOPE. If I had known nothing would come of it I probably would have wasted my time on something different.
Yeah.
F*ck that sh*t.
Romances that lead no where are like a kick to the balls for me.
This is why reading Ouran was the best decision of my life.

Need conclusive H-scenes, huehuehue

When you can spend hours upon hours thinking about one character then chances are they're well written. And not thinking about them because they're attractive or cool to watch fight, I mean the actual characteristics of them.
Like Homura. I could throw a 2000 word book at you about how great of a character she is alone, a fact that several people in this thread can attest to as I quite literally have written entire books posts on how amazing she is in the past already.
I guess that's the best way I could put it. Nothing specifically about what I'd gush about her is what makes her a well executed character, it's the fact that she can have that effect on me and make me think that much that does that.
I'm too distracted by the eyes.
C'mon House.
Just think of the hilarity.
Replace Tomoya with Shirou, Akio with Kotomine and Sanae with Illya.
Make it happen Japan.

I recall you spent two pages with Ani discussing her brand of shampoo.
