So. I'm watching the Animated Adaptation of The Dark Knight Returns again. Both parts back to back for once.
Part 1 is still good.

Part 2 still has alot of things I don't like.

Revolving around how Superman is used. Because Frank Miller understands Superman as much as he understands women who aren't hookers.

 

Peter Weller is a good Batman though.

 

And Jay Oliva has good direction of Action scenes. I could see alot of his influence on Ant-Man.

I don't mind fan service shows like this because I find them to be quite funny.

While there were scenes with decent comedy, I couldn't skip past how weird the whole harem part of it was anyway. While the first season is somewhat enjoyable, the more the series drags on, the more the jokes involving fanservice just seem redundant. At on point it turns into a Johnny Test clone. The basic plot of each episode amounts to, "How will Rito **** up one of Lala's inventions for unintended reults?" I don't know what I'm trying to achieve with this, especially since I watched the whole series (including motto to love-ru and darkness), but I can conclude that it is a weird watch that requires very selective taste before viewing.
