Ah, I saw the trailer for Gundam the Origin II and for Gundam "Iron Blooded Orphans." 

 

I'm glad we're getting a new AU and hopefully it'll be great. However....

I don't know if I like the design or hate it.... 

 

They need to however stay true to the design. SEED, Wing, Afterwar and 00 suits knew how to stay true to the base design while also looking unique. Meanwhile....

 

Is that even a Gundam? Somewhat looks like one but not quite.

Actually they are not the same. Several Gundams follow a base design and share similar features, from the RX-78-2 to Strike Freedom to Dynames to Wing Zero. 

 

The most distinctive feature is the head.

If the body doesn't match up, the head will most certainly tell you if it's a Gundam. Gundams also are high performance Mobile Suits and usually outclass other mobile suits.

Ugh. They're not. The Strike Freedom doesn't have it's Phase Shift armor activated. The SF also haves an extra V fin.

I noticed it, I can't even pretend to not.

 

Because I got the urge to modify my Yamato figure to her remodeled version because the 非理法権天 written down the leg really wraps up the design even better, but unfortunately her equipment also changes in the remodel. Slightly. But out of my ability to change. Oh well, time to start modifying the Pyrrha figure.

 

Anywaaaay enough ranting, Cowboy Bebop is next on the list, figured it and Trigun would make a good combo to lead into each other.

Oh yes, a notable comparison is a car.
