I like things that bother me. In art and such at least.

As to Hunter X Hunter - wow, I've a whole new perspective now that I've forgotten about the awesomely dark 99' series. The adventurous new one is a way different beast, yet it is good!

Was cool to see that sea-sickness and pulling-of-ropes sailing in the first ep. Went on a similar ship myself just recently, and boy was it easy to get sea-sick in iffy weather, on sea, and pretty tough to hurl sails and such. So I definitely got some enjoyment relating to those scenes.

And overall, seems to have a pleasant adventurous vibe to it. I'm not opposed to that, not at the moment. Seems pretty neat and fun actually.

Really weird how perspective is prone to change. Last time I saw the ep I hated it...

NEW CHAPTER!? OMGOMGOMG! It's been weeks! Oh how I missed you!:crying:

Shi woon finally earned that doctor's respect. Plus i'm glad that the story will move on to the bigger conflict.

Don't worry ero, I love Eva too. I haven't seen EoE though, which I'm thinking is probably a disservice to myself as a viewer.

And on a totally unrelated topic that probably means nothing to anyone but me, the latest chapter of Nisekoi was horribly good. It's like the author just loves to make Chitoge suffer...whatadick.

Best girl needs to suffer because best girl wins in the end. :wizard:

A truth I hold to be self evident, but sometimes it's just too much to bear. Like, she isn't even a tsun anymore! She's just adorable! But jeeeeeez does this guy (the author) like to beat around the proverbial bush.

Technically...yes. Technically, My Little Pony is also an anime.

Korra is animated in Korea, but it's targeted at a Western audience. For that reason many (in honesty, most) don't consider it an anime. Depends on how you define it though.

Korea = Japan, for me. So it's also anime.

Haha.

Most anime studios do outsource their anime drawings to Korea. If you read the credits of an anime, sometimes you see the names of the Korean staff.

I've been far away from animes and mangas for a while now. The last thing I've read was a manga called "Homunculus". Loved!! I wish I could find something close to it, though :/
Some people recommended me the manhwa "Priest".

Am @ 94% download for Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan, will start watching this one later today. Artstyle and setting at the very least already seem to hit my sweetspots, will see about the story and characters as I have deliberately avoided spoilers when checking it out.

@eroeru, Modern Japan equals Modern South Korea, if we don't consider their languages. Satisfied?

Well, maybe if we don't consider their culture and geopolitics in whole - politics, history, mindset, quisines, nature etc. I.e. most everything that makes up differences of nations.

I highly suggest you never travel to either country and say that. Unless I'm in your will.

As to getting to know the different cultures, a youtube tour both in particular examples of music, quisines etc and looking up natural-science -or politically-economically minded documentaries + a comparison of wikis would do.

Tho I guess they really might be ideologically similar, there're differences in that too.

I think by simply posting Korea = Japan is enough to start a war between the two countries.

^ I would never call a Korean that had a bad Temper Japanese, or call any well dressed Japanese men that were just hanging around Korean, thats for damn sure.
