What about a duck with a diamond beak?
Actually never mind. I shouldn't be giving y'all ideas..
Depending on the crystalline structures in that beak, it might cleave easier than whichever diamond you have. Which is a cruel waste of perfectly fine carat, let alone the financial worth of such a novelty creature if it were anything other than some megalomaniac rapper's stuffed hunt trophy.
Why potentionally waste good money when you can crack a diamond with mundane and commonly available methods?
Why do you condone duck cruelty?
Or is that the story of it, have them turtles turned you into an anti-anatidaeist?

OMGWTFBBQ!!!
Daryun, you just got SHAMED! Jumping from horseback onto the war elephant? Eh, cool I guess. Jumping on the very much still walking/running/trampling war elephant ON YOUR HORSE? DANK AF!!!!

So 6 months ago or so I found out that Utsuro was a light Novel ranked 2# at MAL (just under Berserk and above FMA: Brotherhood and after reading the summary it piqued my curiosity and I decided to read it.
Utsuro is a story that starts out with a female character Aya Otonashi threatening the MC saying that she will break him.

From there on out the LN will mainly focus on the characters while putting them in supernational situations caused by magical items called boxes. These boxes can fulfil the things the owner wishes for. But every box is unique and will put them in very different (extreme) situations. Their life will be put on the line and they'll have to face not only each other but their friends as well. These events caused by these magical wish granting devices are always very different depending on the person they're facing give our cast of character chances to develop.
What I also really liked about it is how the LN doesn't simply forget about the characters and keeps them involved and axctually develops them instead of just throwing them away after their introduction like some other stories do. Kazuki and Aya are the main protagonists but in no way does the LN throw away the other characters in the cast and even when new characters get introduced they'll keep returning in later volumes (well besides the one in Vol 2 but Volume 2 was the worst one anyhow so it doesn't count).
The atmosphere is also something I really liked. It had this very melancholic feeling and emotional kind of feeling even when their were happy moments. Mind you it can also get pretty damn dark at times and when I say dark I mean Butcher character suffering dark.
Finally there are two characters that I liked so much that they will permantly go in my favorite character list.
Namely these two.
Yes. The MC and main heroine, Kazuki and Aya respectively were character that I will probably never forget.
On the one hand we have a MC that has lived most of his life just going through his everyday life put in this supernatural situation were he has to adapt to help Maria. And man does he have some development later on in the LN's.
And on the other hand we have Maria, a girl who has always been fighting against boxes and their very existence. I should also mention that Maria is one of the most unique heroines I've seen in Manga/Anime/LN. I can honestly not take another character out of another show or even one of the dere archetypes and say; Hey! That's her! which is something I really appreciate.
The only bad thing I could say that wasn't that great about the LN is Volume 2 but even so it was still worth a 7/10 at the very least.
Overall this was a fantastic story and certainly one I easily would give a 10/10.
High praise indeed.
Well consider my interest piqued. Currently I do have other books and LN that I'll be tackling beforehand, but this one will certainly land on my list for things to read.

Glad to hear it.
I'll certainly be interested to hear what you think about it when you'll eventually get to it but for now you need to finish HF and watch Jojo
.
Finally!!

One of the best parts of the anime.

That's bullshit, especially after the long days that you've been putting in for them.

Edit: Sorry for the multiple images, my internet was being a floppy wiener.
Can always count on Rah when you need flames. Though I sis kindly ask him to light me on fire yesterday and he played the proper kohai/ voice of reason role and refused.
Yeah.. I kinda like sensei so setting you on fire really didn't strike me as a good idea. Can always point me in another direction and flames will happen, lots and lots of them
Well nah.
Which is good in a character point of view since Akane needs to let go.
But ffs man, nah, f*ck logical reasoning here.
But I think there'll be more Psycho Pass in the future.
So going into it thinking this was the epic finale was a big mistake.
I guess I'm being bitter in it having a lot less closure than I would have liked.
Welp!
Here's hoping for a season 3!
Oh hey past me!
Anyway now that I've thought about it I'd like to say something more.
Yay.
Well for one it isn't a terrible movie, it's just something that I hope would have wrapped up the series instead of opened up avenues for more.
Basically I wanted Return of the King when what I really got was The Two Towers.
So I was being dumb.
I guess any real critism would go towards the animation that felt kind of bad considering its budget, I mean, the fight scenes in some of Gintama's high budget episodes were smoother than this stuff.
Uhhh, characters were underveloped. But this is something I see in a ton of movies.
It explores its themes a little more outside what S1 and S2 did, so that's always a good thing, for example, how the Sybil System can be used in different ways (underneath a military dictatorship this time) + its flaws and pros... again. Sometimes I do feel it's a broken record but I'm not as insightful as other people in this thread, especially when it comes to Cybercop Orwellian societies, so you guys might pick stuff up I haven't.
Again it does its whole "let's slap a relevant book and its quote" thing which personally I'm not a big fan of but it's there and doesn't do any harm to the series outside my bias.
Uhh...
Akane and Ko were the focus and Mika only got like two shots. So that was amazing.
I got to see Akane naked. 11/10.
Overall it's a decent movie and when Season 3 comes out I will appreciate it a hell of a lot more than I did.
Damn my stupid expectations xD
Should've read more about it.

Haha I gotta catch up on Arslan.
I hope the second half is better than the first now that the cast has more agency.
I finished Kobato. This show went all Clannad on me the evil bastard. Watch it. A show with a great soundtrack, a beautiful artstyle and a story with pure love and passion behind it. It may not be the most unique show out there but it makes up for it with really good execution.
