PST is tricky cause it's one of the best examples of "Play for the story, not the gameplay" which of course tends to spiral down with the "Hurdur it's a game so the gameplay should be amazing crowd."
But Liam, even though I haven't finished tLoU and enjoyed what I played quite a bit, there were little details that made me tilt my head a bit. Not sure if they come up later but yeah, can't exactly fault you for not liking it.

My main issue with it (I've seen snippets) is that it tries way too hard to be everything. Action/comedy/ecchi/romance etc. the comedy comes off contrived and the action seems bland. What makes action great isn't super mega ultra god superman sen power. (DBZ is the only exception, coz childhood) it's the artistry of the movements and how the tension flows and dances at the will of the show.

I personally found SnO to be good. I loved it. However, the manga is better than the anime. That's given. It was entertaining for me and I enjoyed it. But again, it's the first ecchi harem I watched.

I'm pretty much the polar opposite on tLoU but it's like with any other thing in this world. Taste will be different! Never actually played the game for the story, it's all about the characters and their chemistry!

I think most people who enjoyed TLoU did it because of the characters not the stories. I loved it and I didn't really care too much fort he story since it was cliche, it was the characters hat drew me and continued to make me want more.
