Simple--it never managed to capture my interest.

 

The majority of the character didn't interest, nor did the setting; despite its portrayal of economical collapse and moral decadence, its focus on politics, myths, cultures and so forth, nothing about it made me want to continue. 

 

That doesn't mean it isn't good, quite frankly from what I experienced, it is excellent. Even though I was at first confused with what exactly Miyazaki wants to tell with Nausicaä, considering how the manga tackles so many issues in quite a convoluted manner, considering how the narrative changes with each story (sometimes relying quite much on dialogue instead of imagery, and other way around), but he manages to convey the stories in quite a coherent manner, making use of the ideas that he takes up (and I expect it does so for the remaining volumes).

 

But just because it is good doesn't mean it interests me, and considering I've been jumping back and forth with it for about 2 months now, don't see myself continuing with it at the moment.

I liked Nausicca a lot. But in the same vein I liked SSY and PMMM a lot.

 

It won't be my favourite thing.

 

But I acknowledge it's very very good, hell, a masterpiece even and would recommend it to a number of people who are looking for good anime/manga.

 

Still, I prefer my Berserk, Vagabond, Kingdom etc for whatever reason.

 

And going on another tangent.

 

That's what I'd define as "taste." Or at least when I refer to it subjectively.

They are super fun silly comedy games. You'd probably like them though they are best to play when ever you feel like silliness. If your not in the mood for that then play something else.

If you do play it, make sure you read Stiens;Gate as there is alot of S;G jokes with MAGES.. 5pb and Noire (tho with Noire, those lose any meaning in the dub)
