Why did you kill him Imp?
All he wanted to do was love you and teach you how to be a good poster and kohai.
But you killed him with that bloody pipe!

After the first strike on Isi did you look down on him and say.
I will show you! I am the Harbinger of your doom!
If so.
You are a true monster.

It's time for unpopular opinions with, you guessed it, Colaman!
Today's topic: Why the **** did you go back and watch Heaven's Lost Property?
Answer: I felt like giving Impulse the benefit of the doubt by doing my two chances rule!
Episodic review:
Note: These are just things that came to mind after reading the synopsis on each episode and using memory.
A part of me hates myself now, but it is not as bad as the first episodes imply. Though, I have been known in the past to have **** taste...

Well, I just watched 21 episodes of HxH 2011. Good stuff so far. I wonder if it'll be able to maintain that balance between fun and brutal? I mean, it's been a fun ride by and large but there are times when it'll completely blindside you. I fear that if Gon grows up too fast the show will lose part of its charm. Oh, and Leorio reminds me of Naotsugu.

Has it made you want to go on mindless killing sprees?

It will always be a fun brutal ride.

So what's the death count?
Imp has killed Isi but who knows how many people he has killed.

In all honesty there were several things from the manga they should have kept in the anime, plus the plot made more sense and so on and so forth. (Ikaros Melan arc, Harpies arc, end arc, etc)
I am currently rewatching a few of the earlier episodes and I don't see a problem with them. I'm still was amused and entertained, so I don't see a problem with them. But regardless, the manga was better and more fleshed out.
Tomoki is a heavy pervert and the fanservice didn't bother me, so I was able to enjoy it. But in all honesty the wrestling episode wasn't needed.

That was the main problem for me. The episodes where he was serious/ didn't have much screen time turned out to be the most enjoyable ones. It may be because I'm not too much into the whole perverted thing, but this aspect is why the first episodes rank so low for me. And remember, it's all about preference. There were still aspects to be enjoyed that were waiting past the half-way mark for me.

I don't blame you for that actually. You want to know something though?
Even I'm not entirely fond of him. But it isn't because of him being a heavy pervert.... that I found amusing.
It's how he treats Ikaros. He's good to her one minute and bad to her the next. But I'm not... easily bothered by MCs.
There was also more serious moments in the manga (Like the Ikaros Melan arc, the end of the Harpies arc, Hiyori, end arc, etc). I do praise the show for it's serious moments and the OSTs that play during them, those were extremely well done. However, I think in some aspects they tried too hard to be different from the manga. (Remember Angeloid of clockwork? Yeah, everything was smoothly done in the manga. Not in the movie however). You also caught hints about certain things (Like Sugata's family) but those were never really explored in the anime if I remember correctly.

OOC, you people are all watching Shimoneta, right? You should all be watching Shimoneta, that show is pretty tight, it's sort of like a cross between Kill la Kill, Psycho-Pass, and South Park Bigger Longer and Uncut. Mostly the South Park movie. Great stuff, yeas.
