I think i've ruined post apocalyptic settings for you.

The base model looks just like the Tower Guards from 2. And the white and gold accents don't help.

 

And that they descended from a big satellite in the sky.

 

Other than that there was no other resemblances.

 

But I loved the theme there.

I need to finish Gundam Wing, work on Date A Live and finish season 01 and finish rewatching Gundam 079 and finish Afterwar. (Something I've never gotten around to) and Mirai Nikki. 

 

Then I can balance out LOTGH, Jojo, and SAO II. Should be much easier.
