One of my favorite characters in fiction is a character who was designed to be an emotionless weapon. The important thing is that they develop past that and you know grow, become more independent and form their own personality, tastes and interests regardless of relationships despite all the suffering and difficulties that may arise. Does Ikaros do that?

At the defense of Impulse, she does have a great chunk of that down. It takes a long time to come fruition, for me to notice at least. Sugata/ white haired glasses man fits that bill pretty well.

Ken serves a purpose. An important one. He just stays after it because reasons. And that one boss where he's useful.

Now you know why I've tried being so careful to not let on too much about Ruby and Sapphire. :3 I'll also be a bit more careful with my reblogs til you're caught up so if you want to maybe blacklist SU spoilers, I'll tag anything that way with stuff that actually is plot relevant.

So happy you ended up liking that two parter so much cause I absolutely adored it myself. There's been some amazing episodes in S2 so far and as expected, points that have split the fan base too. So basically what we're used to from being in the PMMM fandom.

She did have an emotional break down in the movie Eternal My Master and well, Tomoki got to learn something very quick. As for the ending... I won't spoil it. But thank you for coming to my defense, I was typing a great big thing then you worded everything perfectly.

The 70s series is more "Lighthearted" than the OVA and Manga.

A large part of the problem is that they are told they're whole lives, however long that is, that their life means nothing without a master to cling to. It takes a while for them to learn about life and stuff. Though I'm not an expert on the subject, I think I've seen enough to make the assumption that they learn their lesson. They still desire the whole master thing, but more in the sense of a relationship role... I don't know anymore! Ask Impulse he probably knows more anyway! Baka!

Cola's right cause man, every time a picture is posted, this series just goes higher on my nopenopenope list. Somehow I didn't think that was possible but it still manages to.

 

If he try to sell it to us I'm hard pressed to do it in a worse way. I'm more inclined to buy vacuum or sand than what he's proposing

 

Schierke brings the pieces together.

 

She is just that awesome a character.

 

You will love her more as her relationship with Guts develops.

 

She really got some nice positive and negative traits. The fact that she's so confident in herself to such a degree that she ends up acting so superior to everyone else marks her as very interesting and I just want more!

Love is a theme in it even if it isn't romance. The love (platonic btw) between Killua and Gon is extremely one sided and awfully unhealthy for Killua.
