That wasn't the only thing that kept me going. The show tended to be enjoyable when the fanservice was played down. I would like to think Impulse's opinion on the show is like mine with Strike Witches. I know it has fanservice crap, and is a bad narrative in the anime, but I still love it. Though I haven't been trying to get people to watch it because I know its faults greater than most. I tried to warn Grav, but no. Then you have an awkward conversation about fanservice, and then you say yeah I know awkwardly. But, there's this stuff that's not in the anime that's better. Then you have to explain in detail events from an alternate universe to defend an anime you didn't want someone to watch in the first place. Lastly, you rethink your life and realize it was worth it...

I don't think it's a bad narrative in anime and I enjoyed the show all the way through, even with the fan service, which didn't bother me. Several of my friends love SnO. My main problem with the anime though is that there were certain things in the manga that were not present in the anime adaption. 

 

I think SnO is a good anime, and it's one of my favorites. I adore the show. However we all come in with different expectations.

His defense is cowardice. I've considered giving in to it with a couple other posters but decided against it. It's easier to toss out insults and hide than to mix it up. At least I can take a few hits when I want to.
