Yeah there is a lot of action, at least a few fights every arc. And the anime used to do those fight scenes pretty good.The Mad Hanar wrote...

You may have a point, Geth. I've held off on One Piece for so long since the show seems too happy go lucky--if that makes any sense. It seems to be that way with both Hunter and OP, but based off of what I've seen/heard, that doesn't seem to be the case at all.
One question: is it very action oriented? I prefer fight scenes when they are animated.
But you do know you can just read the series and then watch the fight scenes whenever you want?
@Shipping talk. I sort of agree with Soronnar (lol I know) about Anag and Katara but not because of their ages. Because that's stupid. They didn't work because they had no chemistry. Now Zuko and Katara? Yeah I could buy that.
The Avatar writers are bad when it comes to romance, we all know this. But Anag and Katara gave us Bumi so all is fine with the world.

Oddly enough, that might not be a bad suggestion. I got back into YGO after discovering the abridged series. Ended up watching the whole series on Youtube in the span of like, two weeks.
Though, if I attempted to do that with One Piece it would take me two months and I still wouldn't be at the ending!
