That Behelit is with him for a reason. It belongs to him. We'll get to see him make an ultimate choice eventually between his need to kill Griffith or protect those he loves I imagine

And yeah, Serpico is not on Guts level but he comes as close as a "normal" person can. He's got the right mind for sword strategy. He's a true duelist

I really liked the part when, um, Okazaki was in debt to Kyou after the local shrine god, Nagisa, swore to kill him, and Kyou saved Okazaki by talking Nagisa into following her dream of becoming a manga artist instead, forcing Okazaki to resort to smuggling guns into the city of Roanapur by tying them under the wool of human/sheep chimeras he created in his lab. Because Okazaki is an alchemist and he had to raise enough money to pay Kyou back for saving his skin, and have enough left over to achieve his dream of combing Tomoyo with her pet dog in order to create a chimera resembling the oni that the citizens of Hinamizawa are descended from, because he believes that by refreshing the town's demonic blood, he can become a new incarnation of the village's god. Sheesh, do you even fansub?
