I have to agree in that Tart Magica has *a lot* of potential if they don't screw it up. Personally going to prod Isi as it goes along further since I know he'll have a good idea if it's going to be up my alley since he knows the sorts of things that make me dumb in storytelling.

Fingers crossed cause from what we discussed, it could be fantastic. I guess spinoffs sometimes just make me paranoid.

 

Releasing tangentially related media to capitalise on the success of something else? What could possibly go wrong?

 

There was a time when I'd just be happy to have more of the stuff I love, but I'm definitely more cautious nowadays. So its very helpful to have guinea pigs feedback.

So far I'm fairly certain which Kyouko is me. Might be different after a workday or at 5 am or something. 

 

A service I do with pleasure.. most of the time though there have been a few cases where I had to dip into external aid to endure the experience.

Haha, I watched the show and wanted an avatar from it. I thought about Sayaka, but I know how distracting (for some reason) two people using avis of the same character can be. I know Isi uses Sayaka sometimes, so I spent a while looking for a suitable Kyouko instead.

 

As soon as I found one I had the sudden realisation that Rah had already been using the same for ages now. (I know, I'm dumb) 

 

I'm after a suitable Charlotte one, but the BSN system keeps messing with me.  :/

I was hoping to save my own rewatch till I get a hold of my rebellion blu-ray at the end of September... but that's looking like a bit of an ask.

Earthbound you're going to find PMMM is one of those series that has a lot to offer on a 2nd viewing. I've watched the series and Rebellion like 6 full times now and it still holds up. I notice new things every time. There's so much attention to detail and symbolysm in it it's crazy.

Still, I rewatch my most favourite stuff regularly, and I already know PMMM is something I'm gonna come back to a lot.

 

But I need to try and resist until I get that blu-ray

I originally saw the movie in theaters which was absolutely incredible let me tell you, but after that there was about 4-5 month wait for the DVDs and Blurays to come out and the wait was torture because I just wanted to rewatch it so badly that whole time..
