I originally saw the movie in theaters which was absolutely incredible let me tell you, but after that there was about 4-5 month wait for the DVDs and Blurays to come out and the wait was torture because I just wanted to rewatch it so badly that whole time..

 

Ack, I'm incredibly jelly. With so much of my love for it going towards its visuals, I bet Rebellion was a real sight for sore eyes on the big screen. My fault I suppose for not getting round to it sooner! Though chances are it wasn't screened close to me anyways...

 

My uni's lucky enough to have a fully fledged cinema. So normally with things where I've missed the cinematic release, and I feel seeing it properly would be a real benefit, I'd just try and convince my film society into screening it. Don't suppose that'll fly here with it being a continuation of a series. 

 

Seems like its been a while for the bluray to not be out yet in the UK.

But yeah, it was really spectacular. The caught you scene in particular was amazing on the big screen. People in the theater started freaking out. I was just in shock afterwords. After the movie some guy got up and yelled "the path to hell is paved with good intentions!" Heh

I would have seen it like half a dozen times in theaters if I could but unfortunately it only had 2 showings you had to preorder the tickets at least a month in advance.

And whoa, if that's the sort of exclusivity they had on seeing it... Yeah, no way anywhere round here would have screened it, much less have had places. I feel a bit better now.

Also does anyone know the process Funimation does when translating their anime to English? I caught up with Fairy Tail English episodes and I now need to wait for Funimation to translate the other episodes lol. I want to continue it in Japanese but I like to stick to the same voice actors, it breaks the anime for me trying to switch voice actors lol. 

 

 

Then there is one last question, what anime is good to go read the manga to?  I wanna read the manga to some of the animes I watch but I get this sense that I will be just read the show type feel lol.

Each like has an individual timer of 24 hours. That's what I got from it.

But yeah. I wish there was some way to see it screens again in theaters.. I got lucky in that my RL friend who's as huge a fan of the series as me got me to watch it about a month and half before TRS came out in theaters so the timing was absolutely perfect. For that whole month I was so hyped and it didn't let me down..
