Do a story where Sim left the thread for a period of time.

 

Have the whole thread be in disarray and confusion as to why he magically disappeared (as it was back then). Then make it a quest to find out where he left off to, with the cast going through various hardships along the way, with finding Sim as the overarching goal but different arcs along the way to cover it. The arcs can have different settings, e.g. from the cast fighting against Dio while simultaneously arguing about trivial stuff (who is the best waifu, for example), and then move on to another setting with a different universe. 

 

Have a theme for every arc, e.g. be it that understanding one another, even if one doesn't always agree, is a valuable lesson to learn. Or perhaps sometimes everyone overcomes the adversary through a common hate (for example, the Fate route sucks major ass! And then they defeat the boss through the share power of hatred). Mix it up a bit with whatever you can come up with.

 

Add some cultural references and various degrees of humor to keep it alive, everything from sarcastic remarks to one another (someone teasing why Liam is so moe, or why Chewin is so old, etc), and of course some slapstick (like Isi hitting House with a turtle shell).

Liam being moe could be a running gag, same as Recon coming in as if summoned to tell everyone his waifu is trash ... this thread has enough material for stuff.

 

 

The biggest hurdle for starters is to compile the characters. They'll obviously based on all of you and I want to have my fun with it, parody it abbit where due, but keep it recognizable that hopefully everyone can connect with his avatar (pun intended). That will take some considerable effort! Plus the mentioned problem of writing myself which I'd rather pass on to you guys for the reasons laid out before.

I suppose the laugh I just had when reading that response would do little to persuade you of the opposite. Ah well, I suppose you'll just wait and see. I have a mind of beta'ing my character profiles (or an early version thereof) for the respective users to make sure they are recognizeable, but that requires me actually having compiled such in the first place, none of which is done. So far all I'm doing is brainstorming to try and get aware of limitations and writing traps.

 

Plus, I totally want you guys to write the Fidite Nemini character, so it's not like you can't have quid pro quo ...
